Best meal of the trip!

Our last meal in Poland before returning home was at this restaurant. There was a good choice of menu, and I had salmon which was really good, and my husband had steak, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had homemade lemonade which was really refreshing. We both had desserts, to finish it off, and the coffee was good too. We paid by credit card, in local currency, but the price in GBP came up to show how much the meal cost, and we thought for the quality and service it was very reasonable. When we arrived home and looked at our credit card account, it was even better value! Good end to a good holiday!

Nice place for dinner after exhausting flight

Restaurant is not from the cheap ones, but you get value for money. Dishes are beatifully served and carefully prepared. I especially recomend home made dumplings, which are really home made with all of its tasteful consequences.

The food and service were very good. We had duck and beef tenderloins, food was very delicious, portions unexpected big and look nice.

Located very close to the airport, the place is a great place to eat. It has a limited menu but everything is very tasty. My veal dumplings were excellent. The prices are a bit high. The place has a nice decor and caters for parties.

Great experience

It was lunch time to visit this historical place. Food is pretty standard but we did have a great time. Basement is kind of weirdo but gotta go walking all through. At least it looks so much like a huge village but eating place is pretty nice as well.

Best steak ever

This place is located about 3 miles from Warsaw Modlin airport. It was recomened to us by a staff member who works at the airport. The food and the service was superb and very reasonable with their prices. Iwould highly recomend anybody who has a couple of hours to kill at the airport to come here for a meal.

Imagine a Restaurant with no Red Wine-SHAMBOLIC

Beware of nice looking restaurants with all the facilities except the true purpose of dining out- food and wine. Food ok but to be told there was no red wine available is, frankly, beyond the pale. I need say no more.

Very pleasant restaurant , nice inside and especially interesting outside with the garden and bridge ;). Food was delicious. I enjoyed starter and main meal . The deserts were not as good as the rest of the meal but overall enjoyed a lot!

White restaurant under grey sky

It was cloudy that day and we decided to have dinner somewhere not far from our stay. Taxi driver dropped us on a vast empty parking area next to the central entrance of the Borodino. Rain was over and we took several minutes to walk around and take pictures. We found old-time cannons, sculptures and a lot of lovely plants, bushes and trees. Surrounding area i would mark as excellent. But interior could be more expressive. All the furniture, walls and objects were white whith a dim lightning. We took a table next to window. Menu was rather short with 3-4 dishes in each course, and a young polite waitor helped us to order available ones. The same is aplied to alchohol selection. Food was served with delicacy and tasted good. There were also two or three tables busy, and i can't really remeber music, so the atmophere seemed to me boring. We finished our dinner and left the premises. Koi-carp which we found in the poll when crossing the bridge was already sleeping under grey sky.

Brunch on Sunday is the best! Delicious and cheap! Beautiful gardens and interesting historical buildings under the ground.

poor food

I went there with my family for a dinner, however food was really poor, fish was totally dry with no taste, vegetables were undercooked, sauce heavy and with no taste either. I won't go there anymore.

Great food to start off the trip to Poland

The car rental people recommended this restaurant. Initially we passed the restaurant SO GLAD WE TURNED BACK AROUND! We were the only patrons, but had fantastic service and quality ingredients. We tried two soups (the one with sausage was full of flavor , waterfowl was good flavor but more subtle) We also tried a basic pasta with mushrooms and meat, perfect earthy blend... DUCK WAS WONDERFUL and large portion. Beuriful layout, high end construction, could easily see a wedding reception in this place. A must try if you are in the area.

Artist in the kitchen

We have selected this restaurant because it was the closest one to the Modlin airport in Warsaw. We had to wait for the delayed arrival and decided that we don't want to spend hour and half in the airport. And what a good choice it was. The place is new, very well planned with big terrace. There are nicely preserved old cellars underneath terrace turned into a dance floor. But the best in the restaurant was a cook. A real artist. We just wanted something small so we took apetisers - asparagous soup and asparagus in the the hollandaise sause with fried egg. We were not very hungry, yet both dishes were unbelievable good. With delicate spices, ideal flavours. Heaven in our mouths. We were eating slowly and with delight until the last bit was over. Then I couldn't resist creme brulee. And again it was perfect. Poetry. Definetely I will go to this restaurant every time I will be nearby.
