Terrible customer service - they do not care about their clients. Even if you ask a waiter to come to your table, you have to wait long time to be served :( And remember that the kitchen closes an hour before the Karczma is closed...- which means 20:00 :)More

As pretty much the only place we could find in Kroscienko we came here and had a fantastic meal, really tasty meat, cheap, really helpful waitress who was patient as we struggled with the Polish language. We left very pleased and decided to go back...for breakfast the following morning. Breakfast was... not great. The sausages were grim - there's no other word for it - and the coffee was appallingly bad. The grounds were left floating on the top, every slurp had a mouthful of them even after leaving the cup for five minutes to let them settle. Couldn't leave it for too long, as it was tepid in temperature when it arrived. Very disappointing, but perhaps breakfast wasn't their strong point. Being the only place in the village, and having enjoyed the previous night, we went back for our evening meal. We were earlier than the previous night, but having sat down, examined the menus and been watched the whole time by the young waitress, the same one who had served us at breakfast and different from the very pleasant one from the previous night, she came over, laughed and told us the kitchen was closed, being quite rude about it. She told us that she could do us a hot dog if we liked. Was this a reference to the grim sausages of that morning? I thought so. Appalling service. We drove to the next village and had a marvellous meal somewhere else instead. Very disappointing that somewhere so pleasant and friendly on one occassion can become so terrible just a day later.More

The food was decent, but nothing special,,, once it finally arrived. We were waiting for over an hour for our food and had to ask for it in the end, so I was not impressed by this. However, the food was decent and we were...hungry so we waited anyway. Lovely location though.More

Typical inn, ordinary food (traditional dishes) but very nice and helpful staff and a beautiful location close to Dunajec river. The inn is quite spacious so it can fit in big groups.

What I ate? Codfish with spinach and borsch. Both dishes were testing like they were not prepared in the kitchen of the restaurant, but ready-made purchased. I also felt ill after eating the codfish. The service was average. Pity, as it's basically the only place...near where you can eat. And from the outside it really looks quite nice and well-managed. I hope that this situation was only due to after-season timing and normally the food is of better quality, but I wouldn't go there for my second meal. On the plus side, the beer is cheap and choice is quite nice, so good place for grabbing a beer ;)More

The place is big and characteristic with big space outdoor next to the river dunajec. Perfect location for families or big groups. The food is fresh and tasty. Prices are very convenient. Wide range of menu choices.

A typical Polish inn; rustic food and live folk music. The food is both hits and misses. The traditional dishes (meat, oscypek, bigos etc.) are quite good. The burgers are dismal and the chicken fillet completely without spices. All in all it's a decent place...to stop for food and a beer, but don't expect a great culinary experience.More
