In the middle of mountains, suprising place, great staff, simple but delicious dishes, standard prices. Nice atmosphere, this place has”this something” that you would like to come back. Worth to reach this place!!!

Simple Polish mountain food, straightforward but delicious. We recommend it for everyone. You need to try gzik with potatoes which is simply a piece of heaven

We came in hungry so our expectations were not very high, just wanted to eat. But the interior looked good and the climate was quite promising.
It was 5 p.m. so not many things on the menu was available. We had baked dumplings, pancakes and some potatoes with cottage cheese. And the mushroom soup.
Every single dish was a complete disaster.
Soup was served with a chunk of pasta cold inside (obviously not fresh cooked).
Dumpligs made on old oil and without any other taste.
Pancakes with way too much sugar.
Potatoes fried with old oil.
Our bellies were not happy after that dinner.

Best traditional Polish specialities- extraordinary those days old reciepies with sublime taste of 5-star restaurant.
Highly recommended for families as one of the best culinary atractions around the area.

We didn't stay at this mountain lodge, or "schronisko", we only stopped here for a lunch, on our walking trip to Zieleniec. There was a mountain run to the summit of Jagodna in flip-flops on that day. We didn't take part, mainly because we haven't got flip-flops... But we ordered some food instead, and I thought some well recognised Polish dishes would be good. But what we got was really beyond our expectations. The tomato soup was in large bowl, but the main course was on one of the biggest plates I've ever seen, and that plate was realy full. Only managed to eat half of it. And it was absolutely delicious. Would definitelly go back there, not only to finish my main... Loved this place, their food.
