Did a brief tasting here as a part of the Taste of Wahiheke tour from Fullers. Definitely the best stop on the tour by far. The estate itself is beautiful. The area we were shown to is covered with mosaic designs, apparently all hand done....More

A group of nine of us recently has drinks and tapas. Fabulous service, beautiful food, quirky setting and intriguing mosaics....I'd say for vineyard picks on the island, this would be one of the more interesting and aesthetically pleasing. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Amazing service and food, my wife and I popped in on a Saturday morning for lunch. We had our small dog with us and they happily said we could pop her under a Olive tree in the grove and shade. Our waitress without asking filled...More

We couldn’t get a reservation for New Year’s Eve, so we got one for lunch on the first. Great food and wine in a birds nest of a restaurant perched at the top of the vineyards. We loved it.

We pre-booked a table for 6. Food was great: fish, ribs, pork belly, breads and dips just perfect. Service was first class. Have the churros to end with & prebook a table beforehand as it's busy, and don't eat anything beforehand

A feast of colourful mosaic work greets everyone before a short climb to the tasting area. Paired with tasty morsels and an explanation of each wine is a view of the grapes growing and the water. Suggestion to make the tasting experience perfect is to...More

Location is ok as long as you drive slowly and carefully (narrow streets), specially when having a bottle of wine after dinner. Deco & setting really nice, interesting views and decorated with calid lights, iron, hanging hams and tall ceiling saloon gives you the sensation...More

We made the mistake of walking here along the 'wine trail", which took twice as long as our guide predicted. It was a very hot day and by the time we arrived, we were starving -- and eager for water, not wine. Sadly, we were...More

Casita Miro was recommended to us by friends who are residents of Waiheke Island and we are so glad for their direction. The winding drive over the island set the scene for a unique experience. The warmth of the welcome, colourful interior and unfaltering service...More

Walked here through a vineyard walk and swim at Onetangi. Late lunch suited us. Picturesque and quirky venue. Very good tapas and shared plates and fine service. Wanted to give it 4.5 stars.

They had a la carte mains but tapas style allows you to experience and share - it was 2 months since I visited but I still rate the croquettes

I think it is great for both - yes, you get the vineyard and garden views during the day time but the restaurant and gardens are beautifully lit and if you arrive early evening you will get the best of both worlds.
