Seasons is a short walk from the property and we found it to be an excellent decision. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent.

Had a week in the Borders and visited this restaurant and had a fantastic meal - wonderful food, friendly and a great relaxed atmosphere to the place. It was so good we went again during the week and had another fantastic meal. Can't recommend this place highly enough. It's run by a husband and wife team and they make you... More

The warning signs were there when I called to reserve a table and asked if I could have a table for 8.15pm. Could I not make it earlier I was asked. So I suggested 8pm and there was a pause then the booking was accepted. Got the impression my concession of 15 minutes was not entirely appreciated. Now I know... More

After many attempts this was the first time I was in the area on an available opening evening, glad I perceived and was patient. What can I say? It was well worth the effort, this was a Wednesday evening, very quiet an felt intimate, food was exceptional, so from now on my visits to the area will coincide with the available... More

My wife and I have been several times now and this is our fav place to eat within taxi range of Galashiels. The food ,service and staff are always nice and I like the feel of the place. My only small complaint is that the menu is not that extensive and I would like more choice but maybe thats just... More

Relaxing bistro restaurant serving the best of local ingredients. Lots of delicious fresh fish dishes all of which are locally sourced. Best 'blue' steak my son has ever had - cooked to perfection with excellent flavour. The homemade chips are a must!!!! Owners welcoming and attentive to the right level. Homemade bread delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We had dinner here as a family on the night of the Melrose. The food was delicious, I had scallops then roe deer. I like the fact that they use local and seasonal produce. The service from the young staff could be faster and better; glasses and bottles not being cleared from the table; not offering other drinks etc.

We returned to Gattonside for another break. The first thing we did was book a meal at Seasons. Be a and Roger make you feel so welcome. The food is amazing as always , the scallops and roe deer were out of this world. We have booked again for Friday, can't recommend this restaurant enough.
