An attractive inn hidden away from the beaten track where we met friends who were aware of it's reputation some time ago. They need not have worried about it still being the same but for my first time there it will be a place to...More

Excellent food and menu, in attractive surroundings. Staff manage the sometimes difficult double of working flat out AND still being friendly.

This was our first visit to the Pear Tree after hearing so many mixed reviews so we thought we would take the plunge. The building is very quaint and tastefully decorated in a relaxed country semi contemporary manner. A great selection of ales/beers/wines were available...More

The Pear Tree has regained its reputation for good food at reasonable prices for something a little more special. The pub has been beautifully refurbished and offers an interesting menu, not the bulk standard "pub grub". Well worth a visit, especially if you have not...More

Description
After being closed for over a year The Pear Tree Inn has been carefully restored as a farmhouse kitchen with bar & rooms. It has a relaxed & rustic appeal to the locally sourced menu & reclaimed quirky decor.

An old stone build farmhouse with rug strewn flagstones & reclaimed timber flooring. It features worn wooden tables with mismatched furniture and linen napkins. The Pear Tree Inn will showcase the best local suppliers with a menu guided by the seasons. It also offers overnight guests eight contemporary individually decorated rooms split between the Inn & a beautifully converted barn
