Venison steaks, Tzigeüner alla brace, braised pork cheeks, blueberry gnocchi, chestnut crème brûlée, chocolate lava cake with Nebbiolo gelato, and traditional Pizzoccheri, a handmade, flat ribbon pasta with stewed cabbage and fresh mountain cheese melted over the top— all gluten free— all over the top—...DELISH! Make sure to visit the very best owner and hostess, Alessia, and her family when visiting the incredible wine region of Valtellina in the Italian Alps!More

Very nice view to the vineyards, tasty cuisine and good choice of local wine. The waiters are a bit slow even when there’s not a full house and not quite friendly hostess (probably even doesn’t speak other languages) but this is not a problem at...all.More

We stepped in spontaneously for a Sunday lunch. Fortunately it was a beautiful sunny day and tables were set outside on the terrace (with a wonderful view) and we could get a table without reservation. Inside the restaurant was full and after a fantastic lunch...with great service we knew why. Definitely a place to return to.More

We had an amazing meal here and thought it was excellent value for money, coming from Lake Como. The menu was very varied and very different to the standard Lake menus. Also had a great wine list - again at very good prices.

We were driving back to Milan from Bormio, and we passed through the hills to avoid the highway and to enjoy the nature and great weather. Lunch was almost over and we were worried that restaurants will not welcome us in, but in IL POGGIO...it was completely the opposite, they were so nice and welcoming! i saw already on trip advisor that they are famous for the GNOCCHI AL MIRTILLO so i couldn't just skip that chance! My boyfriend took the ravioli al salmone, so we could try two different dishes. let me tell you guys, the gnocchi... I could eat that dish every day without any hesitation! it was so good, like SOOOO GOOD. please if you can go there do so and try the dish because you will honestly be so satisfied. The ravioli were a bit dry but the pasta itself was superb! Thank you so much for the warmth and welcome and hopefully we will be there soon and have more GNOCCHI! P.More

Wonderful Family Restaurant. Excellent menu with local Valtellina products and cuisine. Exquisitely prepared by the Father and Son Team of Chefs. Service is fantastic, directed by Simona, one of the owners along with her husband. A great dining experience. We've eaten there four times and...all have been perfect. Oh, the best wine list!More

Restaurant has excellent views to the valley and very nice athmosphere. Allergies were well taken into account. Food was excellent, Poggio menu and especially Tsigeuner was well worth money. It was a bit tricky to find there in the dark.

The food was INCREDIBLE as was the view. We expected lovely Italian food but we got innovative, modern takes on classic dishes. We enjoyed their take on sciat, cichoi (pardon the spelling) which featured the abundance of local buckwheat. The local Valtellina wine was a...perfect accompaniment. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.More

We loved this restaurant so much that we went there for dinner two times in a row and asked for the same plate! The restaurant has a beautiful terrace with an amazing view ideal for a fresh summer dinner. We tried the bresaola and a...unique meat dish that was fantastic! Also their tuna plate, cheese and appetizers were very good. And of course the red wine of the region!More
