Set in a small village, this traditional pub/restaurant offers above average pub food. Lovely atmosphere and attentive manager gave an overall pleasant experience. Not a huge menu but had traditional fish and chips vs Rosemary polenta and fennel. All prepared by the new chef.

Booked for dinner. I had the best fish and chips ever. Normally wouldn't order fish and chips but ordered it as the people on the next table had it and it looked amazing. Thin, crispy batter, tasty homemade tartare, moreish chips. My meat platter starter...More

This is a really sophisticated yet unpretentious gastro pub. Very friendly people who look after you without being in your face. Nettle and parsnip soup was brilliant and the steak cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, along with the food with which was outstanding and filling. However we're missing items off the new menu that we asked for.

Family birthday for 9 people. Every starter, mains and deserts was absolutely fantastic. Value for money and service was exceptional and we will definitely be back again. The new chef had created a mouth watering menu and delivered on every level. 10/10

Quite simply, I don't think there is much management structure and this is clearly evident. We booked a table for 10 people for a family meal, as we are visiting from Northern Ireland and return home tomorrow. Having worked in the area years ago we...More

Hello, yes we do have vegetarian dishes in the menu. Also most of our dishes can be adapted to suit vegetarian as we are cooking everything from fresh. Hope this helps. Regards, Ana Dumitrache General Manager
