Warm welcome, interesting varied menu, reasonable prices. You can see the menu on line. The burger made with beef and oxtail was extraordinary. Duo of duck was much enjoyed. Close to the start of the M50 and the Premier Inn is a mile away. With two mains, one ‘sundae’ (very good) and a bottle of Rioja the bill, excluding the... More

As we were holidaying in this area we didn't know where to go to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Luckily the owners of the bungalow told us about this place. We were advised to book which we did. Although we didn't have a starter the main course and sweet were suberb. Hospitality was excellent too. I can see why this... More

I am not going to describe in detail what 4 of us ate , the food always speaks for itself here but more significantly there were two people in our little group who not only are very good cooks but one couple hardly eat out anymore as they find it underwhelming . Suffice to say they found the whole informal... More

Chose to stop en route to our Herefordshire holiday cottage for a light lunch with friends. It was fabulous, no denying that - but it was also very expensive. We had two starters, one sharing platter, 3 full sized mains and one 'small plate', 2 puddings, 4 pints, glass of prosecco and 2 Diet Cokes and the bill came to... More

Relaxed atmosphere, great food and excellent service, if you are looking for a pleasant evening out with friends or family, then this is a must. The couple who run this took over some years ago, and whilst its always been good, it just keeps getting better. Sunday nut roast, home made, plus great ales and ciders, make this a great... More

Our family of 14 had lunch today at the Moody Cow. We sat outside to have drinks when we arrived and felt very welcome. All the staff were very friendly and the owner who took our order was great. We had 2 of the sharing tapas platters for starters and we're all very impressed with the selection and quality. All... More

Smart pub with a good choice on the menu......though not cheap. It was busy at lunch time so we had booked. Lovely food....no complaints.
