We stayed at the Glen Oaks and this was conveniently beside our resort. I guess the resort is affiliated with this restaurant. Guests have free coffee and donuts if they want. They only serve breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast there and service was very good. I see some locals hang out over there and they knew each other which... More

We stayed at Glen Oaks across the street which while there you receive free donut at the "roadhouse" the donuts were warm and fresh made. We came back later that day for lunch was fantastic. The fries are absolutely amazing.

We enjoyed the "Roadhouse" while staying at the adjacent Glen Oaks Lodge. We're not "donut people," but the fresh, homemade donuts were terrific. Coffee was great. Excellent, tasty breakfast menu. For lunch, very good menu and beers on tap. Staff is low-key and friendly and they played good tunes. Nice hangout spot.

Charming restaurant for freshly baked donuts or grab lunch in this setting of comfy couches, woodburning fireplace, and outdoor seating.

Nice place to grab a bite, nothing spectacular about the food but the surrounding area is gorgeous. You order food upfront, grab your own utensils, drinks, and seat where you'd like. Your food is then delivered to your table.

A nice place to eat. When you enter, you order at the counter then find a place to sit. They will bring your food out, but you will need to get any condiment items yourself at a table near the counter. I had the Huevos Rancheros, delicious, my wife had the bacon and eggs also very good. They also have... More

Nice ambience but forgot they are a restaurant. Very few people actually were served any food within 45 minutes and sometimes food never came. They ran out of one of our choices and never mentioned it. There system was to wait for guests to ask what was happening and then apologize for running out of food. I would be surprised... More

We came up to the Roadhouse as guests at the co-owned Glen Oaks Lodge. Guests receive free coffee and one donut apiece each morning. The walk up to the Roadhouse from the Redwood Grove cabins was short, steep, and stunningly beautiful, by the river and redwoods. The Roadhouse itself is also very beautiful and cozy, with a fire, comfortable tables... More

We stayed at Glen Oaks Big Sur so we got the complimentary doughnuts and coffee here in the morning. We also chose to eat here both mornings. The first morning was better than the first. I had the Huevos Rancheros and my husband had the breakfast sandwich, both were lukewarm as were the potatoes, but the taste was very good.... More

We pulled into The Roadhouse after a long hike, looking for sandwiches and refreshments. The very friendly guy behind the counter mentioned that the cook made awesome tacos - were we interested? Without even perusing the menu, we said yes. Well these pulled pork tacos were really delicious- perhaps the best tacos we've ever had. There were many interesting beer... More
