We were driving to McWay Falls from the north. I'm glad we passed some busier places on the way to stop here. They made the sandwiches as we ordered. My son enjoyed their cookies. I was personally happy to have a sandwich with large sized roll.

This is a country general store with a deli in the back. There are many choices , but the burritos were very good and HUGE. There is outdoor seating to relax. The river Inn is next door but the prices were high. My family was happy and we had left overs.

We stopped here to pick up a picnic lunch. The deli counter and cashier was very slow. Parking was also nearly impossible. There was a guard and we couldn't use the numerous empty post office spots that were available. The sandwiches were bland. Not what I expected at all based on other reviews. But, it was a place to grab... More

The sandwich was OK not great. They also seemed to have problems getting the order right. They forgot most of the ingredients in my sandwich.

The cashier was very slow, but the deli sandwiches were good. It's joined with the Big Sur Taphouse which had outdoor seating and felt quaint.

This was our first time to the Big Sur Deli and most likely will be our last. Service was poor as was with the food. i don't think the cooks use any salt because all of our meals were very bland to say the least. Chairs were mostly empty and i know why. Good luck

We were hot, hungry, and tired but a lunch stop at Big Sur Deli finished off our day on such a happy note. We ate in the garden setting around back. It was perfect! Good service (we were traveling with 2 toddlers and the wait staff was kind and understanding), good lunch/brunch, and an incredible setting. Will do again and... More

We stopped by on our way out of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park for a quick bite. The location was convenient, and the price was good, but everything was heated up by the two hard working microwaves. We ordered pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. The meat was warmed. It would have been nice if the bread was toasted. We also... More

My husband and I like to camp down the road at Pfieffer. We stopped here once to grab a couple sammies for our beach day, and now we are addicted. Though we love cooking our own food, the temptation to drive over here and grab sandwiches and a beer (great selection of craft beer) is always tempting. I love the... More

We wanted to take a picnic lunch to Point Lobos Reserve and we stopped in at the deli to grab sandwiches and chips. They were quite busy but got everyone taken care of. We had two turkey sandwiches freshly made, added cheese and sourdough buns for $8.00 each. The roasted turkey meat was good but I don't think I'd recommend... More
