Everything about our visit to Tanino’s was perfection! The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were amazing! Incredible ambiance in this open air restaurant both under cover and outside under the trees and the stars. A must for your visit to Puerto Morelos....We’ll definitely be back!More
Having heard so many great reviews about Tanino’s my husband and I decided to go for dinner. It was a great decision and beyond our expectations. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive and Chef Damian went out of his way to provide a meal...that left us full and satisfied.
We started off with sharing a bottle of Italian Chairo Pinot Grigio and the Manzana Salad (a mixture of greens, fresh green apple, goat cheese, nuts and a light dressing) which was more than enough for two people. For our main meal, we had the Surf and Turf (fork tender filet mignon and shrimp in butter) and the Grilled Seafood Combination (grilled vegetables, fresh parsley, white wine, barley and wheat risotto).
We finished off our meal with the Copa del Bosque (chocolate ice-cream with berries marinated in rum and chantilly) and the Dulce Final (caramel crepes with soft cheese, nuts and berries).
If you are looking for a place with ambience, excellent service, and delicious food, I highly recommend Tanino’s. It is definitely a place we will go again.More
Taninos is the best!
This was our first time at this restaurant after being invited by Chef Damian. I am so sorry we did not go before this visit as our time in Puerto Morelos will come to an end soon. Of course we’ll be...back this coming winter and it will be our first night out. The meal was suburb and so amazing. The atmosphere is divine in the garden area. The live music was out of this world. We started with the pear salad. Next came mussels with a garlic broth to die for. Our main course was short ribs that were so tender and tasty. The best!
I was so full I could barely eat dessert but did have a nibble of chocolate delight! My husband had no problem finishing it off 😍
I should also mention that they have the best lemon drop martinis I’ve ever had. Service was wonderful and Our server Jose was the best. I can’t thank Chef Damian enough for a wonderful evening. I can’t wait to return. 🥰 Don’t miss out. Taninos is a gem with an amazing Chef.More
We came because of a recommendation from a local. We really enjoyed ourselves as the fish was great. The atmosphere was incredible with the eating area being outside in a garden. Service was excellent and our waiter, Jose was from our hometown of Louisville, Ky,...so we had a lot of things to share. What's not to like, Good Food, Great Service, and a super atmosphere. Try it ! You'll like it.More
This is by far our favorite restaurant in PM.Went three times last week & every meal( filet, shrimp masala, fish)was wonderful.Happen to have Marco as our server all three times & he was an absolute pleasure. Can't say enough good things about this spot.
We had been here once before and loved the caesar. We were staying at an apartment above taninos for the week and decided to stop in for the yummy caesar we had had before. 1 caesar, no meat.. a rum and coke and a merlot...was $275MP.. great atmosphere here too.. friendly bartenderMore
Made reservations. Ate here last year (twice) and loved it! Has not missed a beat, maybe even upped their game now with live entertainment! Wine list/drinks adequate. Salads large enough to share. Tasty and well done. Entrees were a treat in every way. Friends has...Seafood Combination which they raved about. Spouse ate Catch of the Day which was Mahi with quinoa/risotto and I had Seared Tuna. Great presentations, food done to perfection. Service attentive. Each wonderful in their own way but especially enjoyed our interaction with Jose from Kentucky. Hector’s guitar-playing rounded out a perfect evening.More
