We have been to El Pesquero a couple of times. I tried both the Calamari and Red Snapper. They were both prepared expertly. I would highly recommend the Snapper. we enjoyed it so much we invited friends from neighboring Playa Del Carmen. A large group of 12 of us enjoyed a terrific meal. Staff there very friendly and accommodating, even... More

I had heard that El Pesquero was the place to go in Puerto Morelos, and they weren't kidding. We had a group of 12 and Felipe and the rest of the staff took excellent care of us. It was the freshest sea food I've ever had. On top of that, it was the biggest lobster I've ever had, looking more... More

If fresh fish is your thing...this is the place although the menu is not restricted to fish only. The food is well prepared in authentic Mexican fashion and the servings are always ample. Ask for the manager, Filipe, you will make a new friend who is fluently bilingual, knowledge of his menu and willing to go the extra distance to... More

Calamari appetiser, red snapper special , chilled white wine . What's not to like? Very friendly service . One street back from the front . Great value. Great experience. There's even a small kids play area at the rear.

Very nice very busy fish restaurant. Being so busy service can be a bit forgotten. The fish meal looked and tasted great as did the dessert. We went back to our hotel from here, couple of drinks and turned in for the night. Next morning we both got toilet problems.

My wife and I went again last night. We've been with large groups or as a couple. We went early and there were only Mexicans in the place--maybe six tables and a group standing at the bar. El Pesquero is a sand floor large palapa with standard white plastic tables and chairs and brazilian music playing non-stop. The service is... More

Small, beach bar styled restaurant close to the centre. Simple setting but fantastic food. Their chilpachole and ceviche are the best I've ever had, and in good portions. Downside is that their kitchen closes quite early, around 8pm

Simple, ground level, open air place that has supremo friendly service. Victor waited on us and commanded the attentive staff. You sit in modest white Walmart plastic chairs and basic tables. Takes casual to a new level....the feel and friendliness of the whole place. Like being invited over to someone's place for a cookout. The seafood was fresh and flavorful.... More

This place is a hidden gem. The staff and owner/manager are wonderful and very attentive. The fish is fresh. If you like ceviche, go here! I will be back. . . soon! Great traditional soups and stews and cold beverages. It's not on the beach, but is about a clock away. The food and servie more than makes up for... More

We are a tipical local seafood restaurant, worried about our friends satisfaction, thats why we only use the best quality products and ingredients.

We offer a good variety of food: guacamole, shrimp quesadillas, fish fillet, ceviches and coctails, shrimps, lobster, conch and some house specialities. We also offer some drinks and coctails like margaritas, pina colada, daiquiris, cazuela with tequila, margachela (margarita with a beer), beers, sodas, fresh waters and some spirits and liquors.
