On the way back home we decided to stop for dessert, I had the lemon pie and my sister had the 3 milk cake. Both were very good and tasty.

We had one meal here at dinner time. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. We sat right near the sidewalk and it had an open air type of feel to it. Good view of the water and ferries going in and out. Food was good and everyone liked their meals and there was eight of us. Drinks were good as well.... More

We live in a land locked state in the US, so when we visit Puerto Morelos for the month of January every year, we want to eat nothing but fish. Las Palmeras has very fresh grouper with a superb view from a simple but lovely palapa on the beach. You have to work a bit to find it but please... More

This place has a great patio on the ocean but I doubt it will win any culinary awards, even though the fresh grilled fish in garlic butter was quite tasty, the octopus ceviche was like rubber. There are other good choices in the area for food, but it's hard to beat the view.

We first visited Puerto Morelos a few years ago and at the suggestion of a friend, we tried Las Palmeras. It is located right on the beach with a beautiful view of the gulf and small fishing boats. You have to walk past a few local colorful storefronts, then through a small entryway to get there. Looking from the outside... More

The very first time we came to Cozumel in 1993 we were only over for a day trip. We had lunch at Las Palmeras because it was such an easy location right by the ferry peer. Over the years we have been back to Cozumel many times and we make a point of going to this restaurant on every visit.... More

Spotlessly clean restaurant with a nice view. Friendly service, excellent food and bargain prices. We always have lunch here whenever we are in Cozumel.

We had wanted a nice place for lunch after dining on the cruise ship all week and when we arrived were greeted but Joney and he was our waiter. The menu has many options and the portions were large and the ice tea was a welcome sight after attempting to drink cruise ship ice tea. This place has awesome food... More

We used to visit this place some years ago for their outstanding pina coladas. We visited again May 2016 and were unpleasantly surprised. The pina colada was terrible and so was the food. We sent about 90% of our food back. When the waiter saw that he was picking up full plates, he apparently spoke with the manager and reduced... More

On our recent trip to Cozumel, we wanted a bite to eat before all of the local festivities began on Sunday night at 8PM in the town square. We first tried Fat Tuesday, but they informed us they only serve drinks at that time, no food. So we turned around and there was Las Palmeras. We were quickly seated at... More
