Great view of the water/beach/pier/fishing boats. The food was average, and a dinner for 4 with drinks was $80.00 USD, which also included a large tasty lobster tail. The appitizers were average...the nachos are not what we were accustomed to eating, but the portions of the meal were hearty. and the staff were friendly. The local fish of the day,... More

We really wanted to like Pelicanos, but they were overwhelmed with too many customers and too little staff. After about 45 minutes, we gave up and left. On a positive note, they apologized, said they were overwhelmed, and did not charge us for the complimentary fresh fruit they brought us while we waited. So many nice restaurants in Puerto Morelos,... More

This was not my first time there, I was on lunch time 2014 fathers day; the service, the food and the tropical environment wow .... but yesterday I came to enjoy a breakfast and everything began to get very ugly since the beginning, the waiter took more than 10 minutes to approach with the menu, but that's ok, they been... Our first stop after leaving the airport is to head to Pelicanos for a margarita. It really gives you the Mexico vacation feeling. Beautiful view, food and location. I'm sure I have visited Pelicanos over 20 times. Each time

We ate here last night and it was delicious. The margaritas were huge and great! Between us we had the cieveche and seafood pasta and both were delicious. Great location sitting by the beach and good service

Delicious authentic breakfast with the most gorgeous water view. Best fresh-squeezed OJ, ever. Great antidote to an evening of tequila.

My favorite place for Huevos Motulenos...(yucatan specialty for breakfast!) it comes with fresh fruit and toast with strawberry jam. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. It is right on the beach so you get a great breeze while you eat breakfast. The bathroom attendant lady is a little annoying-- she hovers over you while you go to the bathroom. We... More

We choose Pelicanos Restaurant & Marina for 2 reasons. The first is that they accept VISA & MC. The second was they were one of the very few restaurants still opened. Puerto Morelos is somewhat a sleepy little town that turns-in rather early. Pelicanos was busy throughout the whole day and must have pretty good food. We sat on the... More

We found this restaurant on a quick shopping visit into Puerto Morelos. It was suggested to us by our taxi driver, and it was amazing! The shrimp quesadillas were so full of shrimp they looked like tacos. The nachos were large and the salsa fresh and flavorful. If you are looking for fresh food and a respite from the heat,... More
