We have had many great memories at El Pirata over 10 years. Coldest beer in town, great dipe for your nacho chips and good variety of food.

The wooden pirate at the entrance and the smells were irresistable to us, so we gave it a try. The shrimp were very good, perfectly spiced with garlic. Would come back everytime.

So, it was a good meal, lobster very good, and salads good, as well as meats, but it took too long. Catch of the day was good as well as other meals. Not as good as I expected

We just pulled into town and was looking for a place to stay the night. It was a little before noon, hot and we were looking for a cold beverage. As we walking down the street, Thomas was waiting out front of El Pirata and welcomed us. We selected a wooden table out front and sat down. The side streets... More

We arrived with a group of about 10, nobody else in the restaurant. Waiter was not very friendly, food mediocre and steak was a disappointment, to say the least. There are a lot better choices in this town

A couple of things from the menu were unavailable such as ribs, which just happened to be the thing we went there for, so rather disappointed really.

We stopped for lunch here on our walking tour of PoMo. We had the place to ourselves on a beautiful Friday. The staff are pleasant, and the decor is very nice. We shared some "chips" & sauce and a plate of fish tacos that was simply the best we have ever had. I wish we could have been back to... More

When I told my husband we were going to the restaurant with the pirate outside he thought it might be a little touristy. Based on the reviews here, I said let's try it. Well my husband said it was the best shrimp he had in PM (that says a lot). I had the tacos, very good. The service was outstanding... More

We actually ate at El Pirata twice. One time we were pressed for time 9airport) and they barely got us out but we made it. The next time we were not rushed and meal was delicious and casual. Loved the ceviche
