The food in Coopers is good pub grub but it is pricey. The menu is inflexible, when I asked could I have goats cheese on a burger as I am lactose intolerant I was informed it was not possible even though it features in several places on the menu. I also find the cider collection they have disappointing.Service can be... More

We've been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and there's nice wine to accompany it too, especially the Albariño. Food, beer and two bottles of wine came to £110 for 4 people, excellent value for money.

Decided to pop in for an evening meal & a few drinks. It wasn't busy so it was easy to reserve a table whilst we had a couple of drinks first. Sat down at the table but no one arrived with menus so went to the bar to ask. No one arrived after a good 10 mins to take our... More

Really disappointed couldn't get any food as they don't allow in children (4month baby). It was 1pm. Safe to say they are losing a lot of family trade to everybody's social. Really disappointed in attitude towards a young local family

Nice little venue - comfy bench chairs . Very polite and helpful bar maid. Ordered two roast beef dinners. Portion was v generous - beef wasn't the best- Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes were great- lots of gravy ( with a abit of an odd aftertaste)- horseradish sauce could have done with a bit more of a kick-the broccoli, carrots... An off the cuff visit with my partner, who had not been before. We went early Friday evening and it was already quiet busy in the bar area and not many tables free. In fact a lot of tables had been reserved. We were fortunate to get one of two tables available, the second being quickly snapped up. After that... More

I have eaten here a few times and have always been pleased so I was a little disappointed with my last meal. Firstly, there were several dishes unavailable so my husband had to change his order 3 times and the duck he had in the end was not very hot. The nachos were the same - ok but not hot.... More

It was a Monday night whilst England was playing football so the place was fairly empty, but despite that the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I had a burger and chips, possibly the best chips I've ever had, burger was very nice but nothing memorable. My girlfriend had pie of the day, saying it was excellent but the very large... More

I regularly call into cooper's,as the beer range/quality is certainly up there with the best,a great place to just chill, not the cheapest price's,but quality cost's,and at cooper's it's worth paying.
