First timers for us, Food was very nice , Sunday dinner , 3 meat roast very nice, BUT the cleanliness of the place is very poor. There are cobwebs in several place and the blinds on the windows need a good dusting. As a diner you wonder the state of the kitchen. The ladies loo needs attention too ! It... More

Been a few times. Best burgers around, cheese, onions and pulled pork on top of beef burger. Everyone loved the burgers. A few in our group moaned about the price of beer. Also gets too loud to hear the person next to you on a Saturday night. I will defiantly be going again. I prefer lunch time than tea time... More

We go here at least once a month and have always had great food and very friendly and efficient service. The menu is just so tasty. They change the menu often enough but keep some dishes like pie, fish and chips and sausage, albeit they have different flavours. This is all quality ingredients and freshly made. They have a good... We have visited Coopers many time with family and friends but last night 31/8/16 was one of the best. We took visiting family and thought no need to book on a Tuesday night but only just managed to get the last available table at 9pm. Our party of 4 were delighted with the quality of the food. The waitress was... More

Ok, I'm biased. I love this pub. I spend a fair bit of time around the bar area but never eat there so for my 40th, we decided to go for a meal. It was fantastic, really really good. My wife had the Halloumi and Beetroot salad and I had the Monkfish and Calamari special. Both meals were brilliant, and... More

The food in Coopers is good pub grub but it is pricey. The menu is inflexible, when I asked could I have goats cheese on a burger as I am lactose intolerant I was informed it was not possible even though it features in several places on the menu. I also find the cider collection they have disappointing.Service can be... More

We've been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and there's nice wine to accompany it too, especially the Albariño. Food, beer and two bottles of wine came to £110 for 4 people, excellent value for money.

Decided to pop in for an evening meal & a few drinks. It wasn't busy so it was easy to reserve a table whilst we had a couple of drinks first. Sat down at the table but no one arrived with menus so went to the bar to ask. No one arrived after a good 10 mins to take our... More

Really disappointed couldn't get any food as they don't allow in children (4month baby). It was 1pm. Safe to say they are losing a lot of family trade to everybody's social. Really disappointed in attitude towards a young local family

Nice little venue - comfy bench chairs . Very polite and helpful bar maid. Ordered two roast beef dinners. Portion was v generous - beef wasn't the best- Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes were great- lots of gravy ( with a abit of an odd aftertaste)- horseradish sauce could have done with a bit more of a kick-the broccoli, carrots...
