Lovely place for breakfast. Very good coffee (cappuccino). Yoghurt with fruit, honey and oats is delicious. Savoury pancakes is very tasty - portion is huge. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Brilliant Breakfast

We had a great breakfast here on our last day in Chora Sfakion. Pancakes with fruit, were soft and fluffy and a good size portion of fruit, lots of variety and delicious local honey. The omelette was massive and was enough for two people. The...coffee and service was also great. The outside seating area is really well shaded and lots of variety in table/seat arrangements.More

Lovely and Delicious Breakfast in Sfakia

We visited Ntourountous Bakery early in August, 2020. I have to admit that despite the difficult situation everyone's been facing this year, in this place they seem to have everything under control as far as safety measures are concerned. They even gave us some raki...on the house while we were waiting in line. 😁 We had breakfast in Ntourountous. I chose the omelette while my wife and son ordered the pancakes (sweet and salty). Everything was so delicious we couldn't believe it! So tasty and traditional. We even took some bites and flavored rusks with us at the beach. And they were extremely tasty as well. If you're ever around, it is so worth it to stop here for coffee, breakfast, snacks or even grocery shopping. Everyone is so kind at Ntourountous and you soon feel like home while enjoying the view from their backyard.More

Kind and attentive staff

We visited the Bakery yesterday after a long hot day and bought a few items as gifts. The young lady serving couldn't have been kinder and more helpful!

Great traditional Greek bakery

If you travel through Hora-Sfakia at Crete - a must stop for great Greek traditional bakery. Fresh, tasty, good quality and fair prices.

Very Nice Traditional Bakery

If you get to Chora Sfakion, Ntourountous bakery is a must! You must get the chance to taste their fresh baked products along with some coffee. The personnel of the bakery is very helpful, friendly and answered all our questions regarding directions, sightseeing etc. Apart...from the fresh baked products we took with us some bags of rusk, biscuits & bites that we enjoyed the rest of our stay at Crete. My advice, if you get there, try the traditional spinach pie, i loved it!More

Great bakery products and genuinely friendly people

This is a family run bakery at the entrance of Chora Sfarion, where we were waiting for a ferry to go to Loutro. We had to wait for several hours as the weather was really bad and the ferry was delayed. So instead of touristy...and expensive restaurants close to the beach we went to this bakery to have some coffee and freshly baked local pastries. The the lady who was serving us were very friendly and we chatted a little about the weather and travelling in Crete. Next morning we returned to buy some more cookies and enjoyed lovely views from the balcony with a fresh cup of coffee and a tasty spinach and cheese pastries with sesame seeds (my mouth still waters at the recollection). So just a suggestion for an alternative a genuine place to have a coffee and snack in Chora Sfakion and enjoy good freshly backed local products.More
