We visited at the Estate last year in January and took the tour. We learned a lot about making chocolate and the history of the Estate. It was also fun to visit some of the animals housed there. The store and section where the chocolate...is processed was immaculate. The factory section is glassed off, but we could see how the chocolate was made. They offered samples of the various flavors of chocolate which were amazing. The restaurant service was very professional and the food was excellent. It was certainly worth the trip.More

This was our lunch stop while touring the island. It was pre-booked so we were seated quickly and didn't have too long to wait before we were able to get our food from the hot buffet. The food was nothing special but it was tasty...and filling and had much more of a local flavour than we were getting with the international-style menus at our hotel. A brief look round the estate afterwards allowed us to see things like the drying trays for the chocolate beans and listen to a very talkative parrot.More

Great tour starting among the cacao trees, tasting the raw fruit and following through sorting, fermenting, drying and processing into chocolate. Very interesting and well worth the modest fee. The buffet lunch was delicious - I highly recommend the creole fish although my companions favoured...the beef and chicken dishes! So everyone was happy.More

Very nice area. Can walk around and relax. Lunch in covered outdoor patio, had a lunch buffett with variety of local cuisine. Delicious food. After being seated, waitress will bring you a warm wet cloth to clean your hands-nice touch. They will bring you a...choice of soup-try the Callaloo-very tasty! After buffett, dessert will be brought to table. The chocolate cake was yummy!More

Large and breezy restaurant on the Belmont Estate. Definitely eat here if you are touring the estate. Pleasant seating area and good attentive service. I had the salad with goat cheese (made on the farm from the goats I had just seen!) and a delicious...nutmeg dressing (undoubtably from the farm’s nutmeg trees). Finished with chocolate cake (there is a chocolate processing factory on the estate too). The tour was very interesting and informative too. Of course we had to buy some of their chocolate to take home. My favourite is the spiced chocolate (with nutmeg and cinnamon). One thing to note is that no alcohol is served on the estate as the owner is a Seventh Day Adventist. Didn’t bother me in the least but my husband was disappointed that he couldn’t get his Caribe!!!More

Off the beaten path but nice place to stop for a meal if you’re in the area. Very clean with a great view and the food was good. Tried starfruit juice and loved it. Banana soup was a big hit as well. Good selection of...fish and poultry. All of it good. Service was very good even when there were large groups coming and going.More

If you are in Grenada you should hire a car and have a look around. It is not just beaches. On the other hand there aren’t many places you would stop for lunch, but Belmont estate is certainly a safe bet. The chef prepares an...array of dishes available to you in buffet style and all of them are delicious. The soups we were offered as appetizers were really yummy. We would have loved to have some more but you’re pushed to the buffet in way like “just get on with it and get out of here”. Never mind. Food very nice, the plantation style building you’re having lunch is what you’ve red about in books. Forget the chocolate; they may grow cocoa beans on Grenada, but don’t really know how to make them shine. Leave it to the Swiss. Although, buy some anyway! The locals need to have their industry supported.More

This is a perfect spot for a nice peaceful lunch after the Belmont Estate tour - the food although buffet style is a nice selection and tasty (bbq chicken was delicious) but the highlight is the cocoa tea (think hit chocolate milk with spices) -...amazing!!! Considering it's about $42 USD for two people which included already 15% tax and 10% service charge this is a really good value as the tour (paid separately for) is just $5 per person so it's a no brainer - do not read these harsh opinions here and give them a chance. TIP: do try the cocoa tea! you will be hooked up on it, trust me :) TIP: no alcohol served, it's a shame because a cold Carib after the tour is something to die for :) TIP: the restaurant does accept credit cardsMore
