This business is currently closed although there is no mention of that until you get to the door. A sign in the car park would be helpful.

Good pub grub, excellent atmosphere (especially at the weekend), friendly and efficient service. Despite the change front of house and in the kitchen from when reviewed before, this place still hits the spot. Well done to the young, enthusiastic staff.

Recently visited the White Hart for Sunday lunch and really enjoyed it. Like the comment below we had a problem with the lamb shank however the manager expressed his concern told me they would be talking to the supplier and taking it off the menu. Other than the lamb the other 3 meals (pork and 2x beef) were fabulous. When... More

We recently went here for Sunday and I've never been so disappointed, I used to love this restaurant but it's recently changed hands and the lamb shank I was served up was literally not edible, it was all gristle and bone and like the leftovers of a shank, after complaining we were I was the 4th person to complain and... Very pleased that this quiet pub is not overrated. Excellent calamari and white bait starters were followed by great (and generous) steak, but fish of the day sole the show. Recommended.

Lovely pub/restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food on the road between Caerleon and Usk. I have been on numerous occasions including for meetings and the food is always good. Beef knuckle on the menu most recently and it was delicious.

Staying at a local spa hotel for a few nights we decided to try the nearest pub for an evening meal. The White Hart appears to be a very pleasant pub, traditional with a good atmosphere. The staff were very polite and service was good. We visited on the Thursday evening before Good Friday. The menus are limited and we... More
