We have been going to this restaurant for several years now and have never been disappointed by the quality of the service. The starter, main course, cheese and dessert formula is a monument to the glory of well-eaten for just over 40 euros. This time I let myself be tempted by the foie gras poached in red wine with its salad, the variation around the duck leg, the cheese platter with lots of "s" which is just an anthology and a glass of ice cream exotic with delicious artisanal ice creams. We washed it all down with an organic Faugeres Couture which is a very good wine. We did some shopping before leaving since it is possible to buy and take wine, food, etc. Don't change anything, it's just perfect. Thank you and see you next time!

The setting to start, we are in a typical buron with its stone walls and its particular atmosphere, a great setting for a meal.
The staff very friendly, very nice. You can feel the passion for their craft in their way of describing to you precisely during the service the origin of each component of your plate and the way it was prepared.
To wait, excellent homemade tapenades and dry sausage will be offered with your aperitif.
The meal is excellent. It's very fine, very good cuisine. Everything is homemade with local products up to butter and pickle whose origin will be indicated at the service. The dishes are well prepared and brilliantly cooked. Special mention to buternutt crème brûlée which is a beautiful discovery.
And finally the must-have cheese platter. There’s something for everyone, each cheese will be carefully described before making your choice and they will be served in the order you need to eat them to get the most out of their flavors.

Surprising restaurant in the heart of Lozère!!!!!!!!
Typical place in a small town of 50 very pleasant inhabitants. Discreet and warm welcome at the same time. The catering is of quality with local products and the menu is varied, with a choice of local meat or fish.
Attracted by the fondues, we chose the veal fondue with white wine and herbs: a killer!!!!! very good meat, the white wine in the cauldron is very tasty and the accompanying homemade sauces are Exceptional: the one with porcini mushrooms, foie gras, chocolate..... everything is tasty.... even the salad as an accompaniment is very good, and the fries or aligot also.
We will come back without hesitation, and very quickly......

Really a nugget!!!
We went there as a couple with a little man of 15 months and they were adorable! Already a high chair adapted and clean and very understanding that a little man expresses himself a little loud.
The photos do not do justice to the place, really beautiful, both old, with the charm of buron and the little new side.
The dishes are refined, well supplied and exact in flavors, well balanced.
The staff is kind and really understanding. We are two adults raised and the outings to restaurants are often complicated but there is no judgment.
We will return with pleasure and even soon with the family
Thank you again.

We were not expecting to find such an establishment in this small village of Aubrac.
Restaurant located in the center of the village in an ancestral building and managed by charming, helpful, competent and very good Trip Tip.
As for the menu, exceptional with local products.
Yes, I did. Surprise, surprise.
Trip Tip: if you are visiting or holidaying in Aubrac, make the detour to the Hostel de la Tourre in Marchastel.
In addition, we offer you to take homemade products worth the visit.
Thanks again to the entire Hostel team.
Nous y reviendrons.

It was sold to me as an excellent restaurant, and I was still surprised
It was excellent, both in the kitchen and in the service.
Surprised also that even the children's menu was very well presented
I'll come back soon enough to find out the rest and share it with friends!

This auberge shows off the regional cuisine quite wonderfully. Starting with tiny slices of saucisson, local cheese and a very gutsy tapenade accompanied by the crustiest crispest croutons, followed by local charcuterie and then the local culinary glory Aubrac beef with the most famous potato dish of the region, aligot. Aligot is made with tomme de Cantal cheese and potatoes and at the Auberge the recipe is followed closely.
The cheeses to follow are very local indeed, from very individual cheesemakers- don't expect anything you've ever heard of before-sheep, goat snd cows milk cheeses.
The puddings made a welcome change and my myrtille (wild bilberry) ice cream was fabulous.
This menu is not for the faint hearted. Its just fabulous localfood from a young ambitious hard working couple. It was a great evening.
