Nice restaurant with direct view to 8 pyramids (I dont really see the 9th). Seem very popular during week end as we are not able to make reservation at that time.
Advanced reservation is needed otherwise the security will not allow your car to go there and they will not serve you. Took approx. 30 minutes to reach the restaurant by walk - highly recommend.
The foods is good but nothing special. You can find much better, tasty and cheaper food in Cairo - but certainly without the amazing view of the only exist Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The food is reasonably priced, eg. 175EGP for mix grilled though the portion is smaller compared to the typical one. Foreigner has to pay EGP 200 for entrance ticket while local only pay EGP 20.
This was our second visit - quite happy on the first visit but a bit disappointed with the slow service on second visit. Took 5 x "wait a minute" with total time of more than 30 minutes to get the dessert we ordered and asked them to serve immediately after we finished our lunch.
Alcohol; is not in the menu but you can ask for beers and few selection of wine.
Best time to visit for nice instagram pics is for late lunch where the sun warmly illuminate the pyramids behind you.

The new 9 Pyramids lounge is a great place where you feel you are a part of the pharaonic era; you can eat there and stare for hours at the pyramids.
The design of the lounge is great, all tables are looking the great pyramids directly.
Food is not good, especially lunch, orders are taking long hours to be served, quality of meat is bad, and food is cold and expensive for such quality. Breakfast is better, but you go anyway, once and twice, because the lounge is very nice and clean, and you cannot miss the view and the feeling of being a part of this place.
I would have done it differently with the food ideas if the restaurant was mine.

We had fun getting here from the Novotel Cairo Airport!
Uber said 1.5 hrs but we were almost there after 45 mins. Getting there and in took another 45 mins though!
Touts stopping the car & making statements like “Cars aren’t allowed, you have to take a horse & cart” and ‘Trust me – I work here’ got the contempt they deserved.
The main downside is that we had to pay 240LE EACH to access the Giza plateau, and then pass two more checks confirming we had a booking, before we finally got there.
The view is worth it, even if 6 of the pyramids are what could be called ‘diddy’ sized ones.
Service was good – we ate in the glass air-conditioned building rather than outside under the shelters. Whilst the food was fresh and well presented, I wouldn’t rave about I, but you go for the view, not the food!
You can also sit cross-legged at areas in the sand if that is your thing but it was about 45°C so we didn’t bother.
Tantalising bread was being freshly baked at a traditional oven.
But having been there it isn’t the sort of place you go back to. Strictly a ‘been there, done that’ sort of place.

From 2 days I went to have breakfast at this beautiful place, the restaurant in the pyramids plateau.
I like the place very much and i wish I could stay there more.
Food is perfect they have 2 options western or Egyptian breakfast it includes egg+ cheese+ beans or cold cuts+ bread or toast + hot drinks or juices.
The price per person is 330 EGP.
The place there work with the pyramids working hours from 9 am till 4:30 pm.
The restaurant have 2 slots breakfast from 9 am till 12 pm or lunch from 12:30 till 4 pm.
If you want to go there and enjoy the beautiful view and food you have to make a reservation 1st and call them.
Incase you go you will need to enter from the main gate near menahouse hotel and pay a ticket for entering pyramids plateau.

The place is very unique and they tend to market it as an exclusive high end venue which it’s everything but so ! The only good thing about food was the freshly baked bread ! My friends ordered mix grill which was OK ? My chicken came with over cooked veggies and cold fries . Not to mention it took them ages to bring the drinks . We then moved to the Bedouin style seating and we spent two hours with the leftovers from the guests before on our table ! I have asked the bored waiter to clear it a couple of times with no success … except for the great view of the pyramids the place is not worth the visit !

OMG!!! what a view! It’s hard to write a GREAT review for a gem you find during your travels because you know that once you put it out to the universe, it blows up and it’ll no longer be a secret. But on the other hand, this is how great businesses stay alive. I can’t say enough for the view as photos do not do it justice. I had read a lot of negative reviews for Thai places and it seems that management has listened to all the complaints, as we don’t have any. We made right as it was opening and had the view all to ourselves for a good 30 mins. In the interim, we saw management having a staff meeting for what one can only assume in preparation to the business of the day. The staff was extremely attentive, even after it got busy. The food definitely good, unlike reviews I read prior to coming. The bread is freshly baked and the lady baking will more than glad pose for a photo with you if you ask. Do tip, they’re very appreciative of it, although, not mandatory, it is a nice gesture, that some fail at. This place is sure to become a Mecca for social media/instagrammers in the near future, as there is no better unspoiled view of the pyramids of Giza than from this place.

First of all, extremely expensive for the poor quality of food and beverages. Small samples of salads that have been prepared way before lunch, therefore tasteless and inedible.. the main dish was a shame, rice and potatoes and two tiny pieces of chicken.. the beverages were barely finished in two sips... again, absolutely not worth the trip and the money.. some tourists sitting next to us kept joking and mocking the place. As to the waiters, they seemed tired and not willing to serve.
NOT RECOMMENDED at all, unless you want to spend a lot and leave the place hungry

The best thing about this restaurant is the view only. The service was really really horrible although there were a lot of personnel . The food was below average with the exception of the freshly baked bread. They refused to make us sit in the front line although it was empty saying that it is reserved for larger group although nobody sat in it till we left. To reach the location the road is full of stones making an uncomfortable ride. The high price that you pay in the bill is only for the view so go only for the view not the food nor the quality

I have been to the pyramids before and had missed out on nine pyramids lounge.
Its a well kept secret and located after the panoramic area in the air base part of the pyramids complex and entry is only if you have reservations.
Food is pretty top notch and while there are always crowds, they are able to manage.
Just a couple things why i have kept at four star.
1. They served the cheese and meat samosas together whereas it should be mentioned clearly which is what.
2. We had the rice pudding for dessert but were told ots not available last minute and when we said we are ready to pay extra they suddenly had it ! Also what they served is after was sub standard.

On Eid vacation we decided to try this place for lunch a d we booked by phone which was easy to make.
Access was easy and proper direction to reach the location, the view is incredible and really a great panorama of all pyramids.
Service was OK, not what I expected but fine, however, food was not impressive at all, to be more specific, it was normal as any other place if not less, so we obviously paid for the view not for the food or the service.
I knew from my friends that may be breakfast if more better than lunch, so we may try it sometime.

If you are visiting the Pyramids then this should be your spot for lunch. The location is just stunning. You can view all three Pyramids in one camera shot while having an excellent meal. Service was also very good. There is plenty of parking, eating under cover outside or inside. Place is new so its very clean and has its own security. You cant just walk in so crowds are lower and no one hawking you junk. Would highly recommend

We were visiting the restaurant with fasting friends who visited it multiple times before and always got an arrangement of vegetarian plates. But this time we suddenly had to order a main dish - all with meat. A friend called and asked about a reservation and this "mandatory main dish" but they told her that this rule doesn't exist and proving that they lied to us.
Would not recommend this place.

My family & I had the pleasure of dining at the “9 Pyramids Restaurant. I want to take the opportunity and express my appreciation to the management of this Restaurant. I have lived in USA for more than 35 years, during which I have travelled to many States & Countries. Your restaurant is distinguished for its remarkable service, delicious food and breath-taking view. We genuinely believe that your restaurant sets the highest standard among other similar places within Egypt. We will come again & will frequent your restaurant whenever we visit Egypt. Furthermore, we will strongly & confidently recommend your restaurant to our friends & family.
I also want to reiterate my admiration for Mr. Khaled El Daly for his exceptionally pleasant & professional demeanor while handling our reservation, and our unfortunate earlier cancellation.
Also, special thanks for Mr. Ahmed Abd El Nasr, and all of the serving staff, for their attentive service and genuine hospitality.
In summary, each & everyone of your staff made our experience very delightful & memorable for years to come.

Place located within the Giza complex, to access it you must reserve by phone in advance, it has 2 schedules: breakfast and lunch. If you arrive by Uber, as was my case, you must enter through the entrance of the Marriott Mena House hotel, Cairo, paying the respective entrance fees for the diners, as well as the entrance fee for the driver and the car. The menu offers many options, the prices are reasonable for the place (higher prices than the average restaurants in Cairo), but above all the view is masterful, it is worth it, being able to enjoy your food contemplating the only wonder of the ancient world that has ever existed. lasted to this day and enjoy a pleasant and pleasant moment. Without a doubt, it is worth saying goodbye to a trip that will mark your life.

A must-stop when visiting the Giza Plateau for the panoramic views (without the crowds at Panoramic Point), the delicious and abundant food (local and Western, vegetarian and vegan friendly), and the friendly service (Ahmed was fantastic). Book in advance by calling and you'll get the QR code that'll let you enter.
One note: I hope they'll make a few eco-friendly changes soon, like no longer using disposable plastic cups or straws.
