We asked two of the locals where to eat one evening. One was another restaurant owner, the other renting out kayaks. Both immediately said Dropadi. It's a good mix between a local and tourist spot. But brilliant value for money. The crab biryani was next...More

If you eat at road side food stands, you pay Rs10- Rs30 per item of food (really cheap). However, at the beach restaurants, you pay a premium and expect to pay around Rs250-Rs350 per meal (excluding drinks and dessert).
