I saw a bunch of reviews on here saying this spot was cash only and spent 3 days paying cash but it’s actually not. They accept card, there is a 6% commission put on top but I did the math on the exchange rate and it comes out Better than their exchange rate (if you have to pay in dollars) and about the same as the exchange rate you get in town when exchanging dollars for pesos. (My credit card does not charge me for international purchases, if your’s does this may be different).
The smoothies are pretty good, it is overpriced compared to eating at a less touristy spot in tulum where you can find smoothie bowls at almost half the price and for that give it a 4. My husband got sick and we were staying in the hotel next door so ordered here 5 days straight because it was basically all that he could eat. The alkalize up was great the first day he was sick.
The staff is nice, view of the ocean is beautiful, the hisbiscus kiss latte is delightful and I was so excited to see they had smoothies with passion fruit. Overall a cute spot, super touristy but everything kind of is on Tulum Beach.
Also, 10$MX for to go cups if you need it. Not worth it if you’re getting a smoothie bowl - they use the smoothie cups and take out half of the smoothie to put in the toppings so you end up paying double for 3/4 of what you’d get eating there.

I came across this place after working out one morning and it was the perfect spot to get a light and refreshing breakfast. I had a yummy fruit bowl and took a vegan brownie to go. The restaurant itself is really beautiful, with a big open garden area in the back and a cafe area upstairs. The menu is small but it's nice to have a place with good portioned vegan options, especially for desserts. The only thing I minded was that when I went to pay they told me their credit card machine was out of order; when I told them I didn't have enough cash on me they then told me they could in fact take my credit card but that it would be an additional charge of 20% which seemed a little excessive. Overall friendly service and fresh food though

I enjoyed a delicious smoothie bowl for lunch at Raw Love along the Beach Road in Tulum in March 2020. The smoothie bowl had papaya, pineapple, and coconut flakes on top. It was tasty and fresh. The menu featured a variety of smoothie bowls, smoothies, juices, and raw vegan food.
I loved the location, steps from the beach. The seating was outdoors in a jungly garden setting and the atmosphere was very peaceful. The prices were a bit steep, but this is likely due to its location within a boutique hotel on the beach. The mosquitoes were bad in the seating area, so bring bug spray.

Had been wanting to go at Cafe Raw for a while and finally made a stop for breakfast. The menu primarily provide cold options and decided on a smoothie bowl, avocado and herbs soup, and coffee. The presentation for all was impeccable—meeting every standard of what an instagram imagine would require. In terms of taste, it was just okay; not the best nor the worse, but not enough to make me want to go back. Perhaps I didn’t choose the right bowl. The coffee, although 45pesos and served in a small cup, was not refilled, which surprised me. Ambience is wonderful which makes for a good way to begin your day and the service was great—everyone were very attentive and helpful.

Like many similar venues, I would say that this is more a sugar café than a raw one. Almost every dish is pumped full of sugar, especially the smoothies. If you want to pretend you're eating healthily while gouging on sugar, this is the place. It started raining half way through our lunch, and the roof leaks, so stay away from here if it's raining or might rain.
Also, you better check your bill: we ordered for 624 pesos, which is $US31, but our bill showed $US43 - how is that possible? Well, for starters they add an "optional" 18% service charge (which you would have to ask to be removed if you don't want to pay it), which got us up to 737 pesos, which is $US37. How they got that to $US43 is, well: impossible, they are trying to rip you off. An American casually reading the bill could easily drop $50 thinking that the total was $43 excluding tip, when you only ordered for $31.

Stumbled into this stylish-looking cafe looking to get a cup of joe not knowing that it's a vegan joint, something that I quickly put together once I asked for some cream for my coffee. On the positive side, the service was excellent, friendly, and prompt. The coffee was very good and whatever creamer substitute I got, I believe it was coconut-based, was pretty tasty. On the negative side, the prices are pretty much the same as most comparable places in San Francisco and the lack of air conditioning can be an issue if you're there in the middle of the day. It's a cash-only place so bring your pesos as the exchange rate offered for the dollar is criminal, as is the custom in all of Tulum.

Yes, the food is good, but that does not make up for the horrible service! We visited Raw Love in downtown Tulum based on all the great reviews, but we were sadly dissapointed, especially by the owner. There was a man in front of me in the line, and when he pointed out that he had not received any change (as we witnessed), the owner argued with him and had a rude attitude. When it was my turn, the owner claimed that the transaction had not gone through, and asked me to wait. When I showed her that it had indeed gone through, we had to wait 30 min for two smoothies. After 30 min another staff came up to us and said «welcome to Raw Love», like we had just walked through the door. We explained that we had waited a long time, and in stead of helping us, the staff asked us to contact the owner. When we said that we wanted her help instead, she stepped up and located the smoothies, which had been sitting on the counter in the heat the last 30 min! The general impression is that Raw Love is clearly understaffed, and that the staff needs training and a more welcoming attitude.

I visited this amazing eatery each day of my visit. The food is incredible. Acai Bowl so fresh and cold on a muggy day. The coconut water was ice chilled and refreshing. I took pictures of the menu to plan each visit. The vibe is friendly and attentive. They care. The zucchini noodles in a cashew cream sauce was so fulfilling. Everything was made to perfection. Awesome jungle like setting, hand carved wooden seats and tables. Very clean as well.

I came for breakfast; Loved the food alot and the presentation of the food was great , the vibes of the place are great. We’ve tried avocado on toast, eggs and berries coco bowl.
I rated it average cause I like a good service and the service wasnt great at all. I asked the waiter to kindly get me the coffee before any of the food and he made fun of me and said ofcourse the coffee will be here before the food. The coffee didnt make it Until I almost finished my breakfast and he didn’t even apologize. I only got my coffee after the owner passed by to ask if everything ok and I mentioned the coffee.
Later, the waiter comes back and asks me to say good things cause that was the owner; which i found very inappropriate given that his service wasnt good to begin with.

We really enjoyed the food here and ate here three times.
Twice for breakie and once lunch.
Highly recommend the chai latte tea and also the smoothie bowls which are much bigger and more filling than other places we went.
Two bowls and two teas came to $40USD

We ordered a take-out in Tulum pueblo (the village) not beach location) en route to the airport. We had the curry that tasted horrible and was tasteless - it was lukewarm thin coconut milk without any flavors, spices, no sprouts etc.
However, NB: the same dish is exceptionally amazing (deep green/rich in color and thick consistency with sprouts) on the beach location but the kitchen in pueblo is clearly not up to scratch. Please have the kitchen staff train on the beach!
What a missed occasion. Go to CoCon Amor (3min walk) instead when in Tulum pueblo - 100% better!

Imagine a squiggly heap of carrots and zucchini in the shape of noodles, raw, with crunchy slivers of red cabbage and the rare bite of red pepper in a heap. Now sprinkle with hemp seeds and toasted peanuts, top with pad Thai peanut dressing and garnish with fresh sunflower shoots. It is one of Raw Love’s top 5 popular dishes and I found myself and my grown daughter retracing our steps the next day for a repeat experience. SO delish!! The staff took amazing care of us as well, both visits.

Behind the famous sculpture Ven a la Luz at Ahua Tulum is a hidden organic beach Cafe. Covered with sand and wooden seating you can get swept away by the atmosphere alone. There were so many cool and refreshing options to choose from I had a tough time. The service and staff were great also. A must visit.
Generally the long line outside of this place is only for statue photos. Go inside and have a fruit smoothie bowl! You'll be glad you did!

Just famous. We came early because we were afraid it gets busy but there were only 2 tables occupied and the only two waitresses just intended to dont see us, not even a “buenos dias “ Cant tell about the plates because we just gave up and went to another place. Tulum is full of good places and good people to choose spend money on. Not here.

Hello Cris, im sorry to hear about your experience.
We will do our best to make sure our staff is more attentive as we are located in a big open space some tables are not so visible , our apologies for that
However we dont think is fair that you give us such a low rating because our low occupancy or because our staff's lack of interaction right away
we invite you kindly to reconsider a second visit and try our food so you can review us considering a more holistic experience that includes our food and service and hopefully we can meet your expectations.
Warmest regards
Raw Love Team

Nice vegan café with cool atmosphere and shop at the same time. Lots of smoothies and bowls. A bit overpriced and the service could be a bit better as well as smoother payment process.
