We went to karma with my friends Monday evening. The place is so beautiful and unique, we couldn’t stop taking pictures and videos. It’s all made with wood, the lighting is so romantic.
We had many different dishes and my favorite was vegetarian sushi, octopus, shrimps and salmon.
We ordered 3 different cocktails and all of them was so unique, beautiful presentation, great flavor.
Definitely going to come back to karma again to try more dishes and cocktails.
The staff took us on a tour upstairs to show us bird nest private booths with the jungle view.
It wasn’t ready yet but as soon as it is we are going to come for romantic dinner.
Must visit when you are in Tulum.

Karma Tulum formally know as Diablito Cha Cha Cha was absolutely wonderful! All of the staff greeted us with smiles, escorted us to our table and quickly took our orders.
Our server Roger was an absolute rockstar, hard worker, entertaining, and always quick to assist with any questions.
We tested out their hookah ($800 - $1,050 pesos) for a fun experience and they had lots of tasty flavor options.
The environment is high energy and incredible if you’re looking for an exciting place to celebrate or work off some calories with a little dancing! You feel like you’re in a huge Swiss family Robinson tree fort while tapping your feet to the beat with the DJ.
The drinks are competitively priced for the area, so just know it’s not where you go to get discounted cocktails or food, but you’ll 100% get quality in what you pay for...everything we ordered was money well spent. Remember you’re paying for the experience too!
Highly recommend this location and can’t wait to go back!!!! Thank you at Karma Tulum & Roger for the wonderful evening!

When we came to the entrance, 2 lovely young women, Areli and Jessi, greeted us, did the appropriate
covid questioning and temperature (thank you), and then took us to our table. They were simply delightful and so very gracious.
General Manager Luis Alberto de la Rocha graced our table and then introduced us to Executive Chef, Gaston, who asked what you wish to eat, and my wife said, "Why don't you surprise us?" And Gaston had a most joyful look on his face. He was excited to prepare his selections for us. The food was amazing. Everything we ate was perfectly prepared,
Our waiter was Beto and he was excellent. While sharing fabulous cocktails, we watch Beto and the other wait staff dance across the floor. And all the time the music created a playful and magic beat ... people all around us sat at our tables but our bodies were dancing ... So go to Karma and eat and dance ...

Beyond over rated and over priced for the kind of service you get. We waited so long for wine glasses that our white wine was warm by the time we were served it.. at $70 a bottle, I’d expect it to be served cold. Also $130 for “surf and turf” that consisted of two crab legs and an 8oz steak…. Just ridiculous. I’m aware these are first world problems but if I’m paying that much for a meal I’d expect the service to be impeccable. Such a cool space that’s wasted on gouging tourists.

Karma is a fresh up and coming place. Needless to say they have the design of this place covered it is incredible views with three floors of pure magic. If you plan on spending some money here, be sure to have dinner on the roof top where you sit in a nest with jungle views! I would recommend getting the shrimp appetizer. Surprisingly delicious! My now husband and I weren't in a hurry, but we had dinner reservations at 7:15 and didn't leave until 9:30.... service was too slow we didn't want to spend that much time there but we did because of how slow everything was. Food and views great, service subpar.

An absolute oasis!! The vibe is completely unmatched at Karma, from the minute you're greeted and welcomed into this gorgeous restaurant. Hugo was incredible with recommending the best dishes and drinks, and catered to our every need, our server had us laughing all night and the music was fantastic...an unreal dining experience that will keep us coming back every time we are blessed to visit Tulum!!

I came to celebrate my anniversary with my husband and the whole experience was beyond our expectations. For a minimum consumption of USD $100 we got a premium seat in a heart shaped table to see the gorgeous sunset, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating, everyone was doing their best to make us feel well served and happy. Mary was our server and she did amazing.

This place was AMAZING. I was hesitant to go at first due to the little reviews so I hope mine helps. I took my girlfriend here for date night to get away from the partying for 1 night LOL, and man oh man what an experience. Eating here is literally a once in a lifetime experience. None the less, the filet mignon I had was possibly one of the best I've ever had in my life. If you choose to sit on top of the restaurant (the nest area) is $100 per person, and the menu is priced very fairly. On top of that the hookah & dessert were great, and so were the awesome looking drinks. The service was also excellent with our awesome waiter Rogelio. I can't wait to come back next time I visit!

Karma is perfect for every kind of event, whether it is a cozy romantic dinner with your significant other, or an unforgettable night with your friends and family, and all that while enjoying its delicious and beautifully served cuisine. Karma is a wonderland, a dream, a “must experience” place on your most proximate trip to Tulum. Its design allows you to experience dinner in the private mysterious atmosphere right at the top of jungle. And moreover, Karma is one of the most affordable restaurants of the hotel zone in Tulum, leaving with you no option but to try it out for yourself.

I was there to celebrate my anniverdary dinner. We got the rooftop nest which had a minimum spending amount of 150 USD per person. Half was paid as deposit upon reservation, and the other half upon arrival before even prdering anything which is a first for me. But in general, it was absolutely worth every dollar. You feel special as soon as you walk through the door and see the intense but cozy, articulate, and lush ambiance. It felt like walking through different floors of a mansion-like tree house. Sitting in the rooftop nest at sunset was spectacular and strongly recommended to start the night.
Jhonny (as well as the other waiting staff who were just as amazing) was our server and is half the reason I feel so compelled to write such a good review. The other half is because of the food and ambiance which were of course outstanding 5-star.
Back to Jhonny. He was very helpful in giving recommendations based on my preferences for drinks. We felt truly luxurious as he made us feel like his only table with as much attention he gave us. I could tell he was watching our pace on our starting drinks, then appetizers before even approaching to ask when we wanted to order the next course. We never waited too long and never felt rushed.
Lastly, I forget his name but a shout out needs to go out to the other waiting staff member who took our photos (on my girlfriends phone which I don't have now). He gets the angles right, repositions the table setting and people, and even pulls our a warm or white light out to get the best shots. So anyone who wants good pictures should ask the staff for this pro!
I highly recommend this place, it's ambiance, food and staff for anyone looking to spend more for a very elegant, experiential meal. Well worth it.

You know those husbands who can never be impressed and you never know what to get them? 😜 Well, Karma definitely exceeded his expectations and ignited all the senses during the entire dinner experience. The food brings together all the flavors to taste and smell, the environment and ambiance relaxes your mind and sight, and the service was impeccable with Felipe, Christian, and Daniel treating us and catering to all our needs.
Definitely a place worth celebrating for a special event and recommend everyone to experience at least once. You can't put a price on unforgettable memories. ❤️🎂🎉

It seems to me that some other restaurants are overrated and even on pandemic days they don't follow hygiene and safety protocols.
On my way through the hotel zone in Tulum, I saw this place with a unique decoration like little amber light bulbs that look like sparkles, so I decided to celebrate my 31st birthday here. At the entrance, we were greeted by a very nice girl followed by Alex, who showed us around and when we got to the terrace I just thought, IT'S PERFECT! Good music, not so loud and one of the few places where you can see the sunset and the stars at night from the heights.
The food is so exquisite that it takes you to heaven in one bite. I ordered sushi with salmon, avocado and goat cheese, simply WOW. The menu is quite extensive and there is something for everyone. The drinks are also very good and served in such a creative way. The Karma is the most delicious.
Finally, for dessert we closed with an almond based cake which was also very tasty.
I highly recommend this place for any celebration.
Thank you so much Alex for making my birthday a magical night.

I made reservation for this restaurant while I was with some friends for vacation. This restaurant has 2 levels first level is a dining room and second is the rooftop (need to spend minimun of 100 us dollars to dine on rooftop. We chose the rooftop and the rooftop view is amazing and you can watch the sunset as it is going down but deware of mosquitos so we moved our table down to the main dining area. We ordered a few appetizers (Crab Cupcake, Crispy Shrimp and Umami Beef. The crab cake was amazing and the Crispy Shrimp was pretty big still after being fried. Umami Beef wasn't my favorite as the sauce was a little too sweet for me. As me and my friends looked at hte menu, we decided to go with their sushi menu instead of the entree menu. The sushi was so good and pretty big in size for sushi. We also order cerviche and a yellow tuna tataki like dish and they wer both so good. I have order the Salmon Nigiri, Yellow Tail Tuna sushi and Kampachi and they were both good and the texture of the rice was perfect as I grew up eating rice. The drinks here is a must try. This restaurant food and drinks was good and definitely a good date night restaurant. we also orderd desserts to go (Chai cheese Cake and Creme Burlee after the incident fromgoing ot the bathroom and they were both amazngly good but the cheesecake was still my favorite. At the end, they came to our table with champagne and a sabarro as my friend told them it was my birthday dinner. I really did enjoy the expereicne becuase the staff was super nice and patience.
Warning: My friends were offered drugs while going to the bathroom inside the restaurant and this was around 7pm so that did ruin the experience. If you ever in the main dining room area, they have DJs so it is loud.

Catastrophic experience for me and my wife. We paid for the most expensive houkah without knowing. There were no prices on the houkah menu watch out ! I realized on the check that the houkah costed 1500 pesos (75€) even in Europe I never paid that much for a houkah. I call it a true hustle. A place I won’t ever put a foot again in my life. And learned a lesson which is always ask for the price even for basic orders like a simple houkah.
That experience messed my night up. Very mad at the waitress for playing that game with the card and pushing for the most expensive stuffs.
Terrible experience a place to avoid ! We should have known since it was pretty empty

Antonio was AMAZING! He made sure our experience was the best we could have. He was so much fun and very attentive/accommodating. Our steak was undercooked for 2 separate times and he made sure it was cooked to our liking and it turned out absolutely delicious. The food overall was delicious!! We got the octopus and the grilled shrimp too.
