We just had a fantastic dinner and show for Taco Thursday. We went at the recommendation of our hotel. $950 Mex Dollares for all you can eat tacos and dessert. I’ll be honest, I thought it was a bit pricey and I knew I could not eat enough tacos to justify the price, but it was so much more than dinner. We arrived at 6pm which was a bit on the early side. We started with cocktails and a round of tacos. Both were incredible! I think there are about 16 different types of tacos to chose from. All were well made and hearty. The show started around 7:15 and we heard fantastic music and saw a lucha libre performance which was so much fun. They brought my boyfriend and I on stage to dance and had me spin a wheel where I won a delicious shot of Mexican brandy to finish up the night. We stayed almost 3 hrs and loved every minute! The night was also a big success due to our server Fernando who took excellent care of us. I would highly recommend visiting this spot!

An absolute gastronomic delight. Having dined across the globe with more tasting menus than is feasible for most, I can categorically assure any doubters that this is an experience not to be missed. The intimacy, the authenticity, the flavours, attention to detail, impeccable service, literally blew our minds. The absolute highlight of our dining experiences in Mexico. We can only thank the amazing team, with Santi leading us expertly through a Mexican tasting menu adventure - so sympathetic to the cultural significance & so keen for us to enjoy & savour every moment. The chef Eleazar Bonilla guided us through his menu with such expertise & enthusiasm. Genuinely an experience we are unlikely to replicate. I strongly advise you take this opportunity to be surprised & delighted by the tastes of Mexico. Thanks so much to the team for making my birthday one that I will never forget. An absolute pleasure. The ability to effortlessly cater for my gluten free (coeliac) companion was really the icing on the cake. To be so well looked after & to allow the full experience to be able enjoyed despite the dietary restrictions was an additional highlight. I would love to return & share this experience with friends & family. You will not be disappointed.

Phenomenal experience. From the service, food to the cocktails. It was truly exceptional. Ulises creates such a welcoming environment and walks you thru each dish and cocktail so elegantly. Chef Eleazar creates the most innovative and delicious dishes. They’re flavor explosions. Finally, Jairo Tec, takes mixology to another level. Very professional, and everything pairs so well with the food.

Our stay at La Zebra Beach Club in Tulum was absolutely outstanding, largely due to the exceptional service provided by our server, Marco. From the moment we arrived, Marco made us feel like VIPs, offering attentive, personalized service with a warm, welcoming attitude. The beach club itself is stunning—pristine sand, crystal-clear water, and a relaxed yet chic atmosphere. The food and drinks were fantastic, with a variety of fresh, flavorful options. Marco went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, recommending the best dishes and drinks to suit our preferences. It’s rare to find service that truly stands out, but Marco made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend La Zebra for both its beautiful setting and top-notch service!

Juan Pablo and Carlos took great care of our family. We came to La Zebra beach club because we heard it was a more family friendly beach spot. It really was great, we had a large cabana to fit our entire family, there were toys and games for kids to play with, and we had fantastic food & drink service. Entry fee for beach club was $1300 pesos per person but with food and drinks, we met that minimum throughout the day. It also included free parking across the street.
Highly recommend. Our family spent an additional day at La Zebra because of the service we received.

We enjoyed a highly personalized experience with our man, Edgar! His food and drink suggestions were on point and the ambiance was relaxing and featured Frida Kahlo portraits and interesting lighting.
Edgar hooked us up with freshly made Guac at the table, and the most delicious tacos. 10/10 would recommend!

This was my third time visiting La Zebra and by far the best experience I’ve had!
Mario was my was waiter for a majority of the time for all breakfasts and dinners. He recommended the Taco Thursday night to me and my partner so we decided to join- AMAZING to say the least! Unlimited tacos, churros, a local band from cancun played live music and they even did a fun wrestling skit match followed by a chamba line where everyone joined and danced.
Everyone was so helpful and helped us plan dinners elsewhere, a beautiful excursion to Cobá that ended in visiting two cenotes and lunch with a traditional Mayan family.
This resort keeps their beaches in beautiful condition and gets rid of seaweed build up throughout the entire day. I have never been anywhere in the word that pays this close attention to the detail of their establishment- nothing goes untouched at this resort and they take much pride in their business “home”. I feel like family here and will be back as soon as I can!

Me and my husband had n excellent day at La Zebra. We got the day pass for 1000 pesos per person (all reversible for consumption) and were serviced by Beto who graciously tended to all of our needs. The atmosphere is very serene with some soft ambiance music going on and the food is delicious! Perfect for couples and families and anyone who wants a break from the Tulum party hard zone!

I had breakfast here. Beautiful view. I ordered tea and the tea service is so nice (see pic). I had the omlette, very tasty and presentation was great.(also a pic) Abraham was my waiter and was so nice.
The prices were in line with restaurants and less expensive than some beach restaurants. (Ana y Jose beach club prices for drinks and food were ridiculous)
I'm not staying at hotel but they still have free parking across the street, just show them your receipt from restaurant when you leave.
They also have a beach club non hotel clients can use. Abraham said day pass is 1300 pesos/person based on consumption for the day.
If you eat in the restaurant they CAN'T
transfer what you paid there on to the beach club 1300 peso day pass.
After breakfast Abraham invited me to use their rooftop as I was talking to my daughter on phone. It has a lovely view, can sit inside or out. There are some games and a Foosball table. An rooftop pool as well. The rooms looks fabulous from the outside, right on tge beach, 2 levels and the ground level ones have plunge pools.

Food is fantastic! They recommend on the menu two small plates, a vegetable, and a medium plate per person. We got a small plate, a vegetable, and medium plate person, plus we shared the stone soup, which I highly recommend. I’d recommend only one medium plate to share for two as the medium (or at least the cochinita pibil and octopus) are fairly large. Presentation on everything is excellent and Santi provided great service!

La Zebra in my view is the best restaurant in Tulum. We have visited Tulum three years in a row. La Zebra is our restaurant of choice for most of our week – we eat there at least 3 times during a one-wee stay. They have Mexican food that is both creative and utterly tasty.
Edgar is a wonderful server and guide to the cuisine. He takes great pride in sharing the cultural richness of Mexico enshrined in the food and ambience of the restaurant. He is always good with recommendations, whether about food or drink, so take his advice! Edgar also tells you about the diverse roots of the cuisine, the cultural luminaries after whom some of the drinks are named, and/or the images painted on the table. He does this is a gentle and non-obtrusive way. Will is a thoughtful and gracious host as well.

The food was great and the service was so friendly and prompt. Our server Felipe was awesome. I had the beet salad with steak. It had a great sauce and the arugula was soft and delicious. My husband had chilaquiles amd they were good too. Great coffee served with a shortbread cookie and the doughnut filled with pastry cream was also delicious.

Street food Sunday was AMAZING! Delicious food and entertainment. Fernando took great care of us! One of our friends couldn’t eat pork and they did a phenomenal job switching it out so he could still enjoy the experience.

We came to La Zebra for dinner while on our honeymoon. Adalberto was our server and he was excellent. The chef even gave us a special Mexican chocolate cake to share as a special honeymoon surprise. The food was excellent - one of the highlights of our trip so far. We enjoyed the stone soup and the guacamole which came with a table-side presentation as well as the crispy potato & we shared the Lamb Gordita & Beef Barbacoa. Both were great but the lamb was a standout. Thank you La Zebra & Adalberto & the chef!

We were referred by our rental house host to La Zebra as a good Beach Club for families, and it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful experience—so much so that we returned two days later. It is thoughtfully set up for kids, including stations with activities, including easels with painting.
The $70USD per adult minimum was easy to meet because the foods and drinks are delicious. We arrived early (9:30) and had a good choice of beach beds (though best are understandably reserved for overnight guests). The food/drinks service starts at 10am at the beach.
The highlight of both visits was the service. On the first day, Samuel was attentive and thoughtful, bringing us (unprompted) an extra chair for reading in the sun. On our second, Jonathan was always on the ball with the next round of drinks and produced a huge bag of beach toys for our five year old to select from!
We will definitely return—and even plan our future stays in Tulum around day trips the La Zebra!
