This was probably our favourite restaurant in Tulum... The food, the service, the ambience and the drinks were all spot on. Firstly, the food - the huitaloche ravioli and tomato tartare were absolutely incredible and the octopus so perfectly cooked that it melted in the mouth. The service was amazing and the ambience too. We commented on the music and were told that they had a number of Spotify playlists that we could access - we've been listening since we've been home! Would highly recommend visiting Wild if you're in Tulum

I have been to Wild before (I live in Tulum) and went back yesterday with local friends and friends who are visiting from Canada. We had the most amazing experience! Wild has it all: the most delicious food and drinks, fantastic service, perfect location in front of Nomade, and wonderful treatment from the owner directly. This is a combination that is very hard to find in Tulum. Usually, restaurants are totally overpriced for the quality of food they serve. Every single dish we tasted was spectacular! Give yourself a treat and delight all senses when in Tulum.

It was recommended I dine here from a friend of mine who came on a recent vacation. Wow. My girlfriends and I were so impressed. Upon arrival we started with a round of cocktails from the house cocktail list. The favourite was No mames! We asked our server to send out the chef favourites for our table and I highly recommend this route because the menu is too mouth watering to choose. The server graciously led us on a mouth watering journey where all the flavours and textures were perfectly balanced. Service was so attentive and the server really gave us the experience we were looking for. I highly reccomend this restaurant- it was the highlight of our time in tulum. Also- you must conclude the meal with a round of mezcal, make sure you try the traditional grasshoppers and worm salt that is served on the side!

This is not our first time at WILD . We had great experience last year, came back this year and had an amazing evening.
The menu has changed so We ordered almost everything on the menu to share. Everything was delicious. The dishes that really stood out are the prawns with chorizo sauce , the truffle ravioli, the octopus, catch of the day, the tomato tartare and the short rib .
Portions were great. And every dish was so rich in flavors and very creative.
The cocktails are definitely the best in Tulum and the service very attentive despite being busy . We had a great evening, spent almost 3 hours there and cannot recommend this place enough.

This is purportedly one of the best restaurants on the strip. And it mostly lived up to that buzz. We are here on a quiet night. We have the al pastor dumplings and the huitlachoche ravioli for appetizers. The dumplings were juicy and flavorful and the ravioli had smoke and spice and richness and were simply fantastic. For the main course we had the pork belly and the octopus. Although the pork belly was quite good, the octopus was simply a bit too tough. Unfortunately, at this point in culinary history, there’s no real excuse for tough octopus. And, although the flavors were excellent, the texture suffered. Equally problematic, the churros we had for dessert were simply fried too long, and were too dark, and served barely warm. By contrast, we had had a better churro in a food court Mexican joint in the Denver airport only 48 hours earlier, so when you suffer in comparison to that!... well… Our drinks were highly creative. The bottom line was that *most* of the meal was excellent, but Wild didn’t put forth their “A gem” for every course. I’d give this restaurant another try, but can’t put it on the top of my list given the two items that missed the mark.

Wild Tulum has great ambiance, exquisite food and cocktails. Karen the owner created a beautiful restaurant using nature and modern architecture.
The Beetroot salad was very fresh, beautifully presented. The Al pastor dumplings was a "magnifique" fusion of Asian and Mexican cuisine. And the all time favorite of the group was the Huitlacoche ravioli with white truffle, superb. I couldn't get enough of the Coconut granita, passionfruit, almond coco-crunch, lime, fresh mango dessert. Fantástico! So delicious I could have eaten 3 of them. I've been to Tulum several times and some areas are unfortunately turning into loud, party scenes. Some restaurants have very loud music and you feel you are in a big city, not at the beach. If I go to Tulum, I do want to feel like I'm at the beach, in nature. Not in NY or LA at some trendy spot. Wild Tulum has the right balance of sophistication without forgetting we are in nature.

Can you dream if Ravioli!!!...yes you can if you eat the huitaloche ravioli at Wild! I am a vegetarian wannabe vegan and the menu did not disappoint. I started with a light fresh roasted beet salad. It was flavorful and copious. Then the ravioli. It’s hard to describe the flavor. I understand it’s a mushroom so it has an earthy and may I say wild flavor. It was served in a light foam which made it all the more interesting. My friends also raves about the octopus and the duck. It was such a pleasure to dine on amazing food and great ambient music. I slipped into the best food coma after dinner and am still dreaming of the ravioli!!

If you find yourself in Wild Tulum you have chosen the right path. To be a part of this establishment is a true Tulum experience and the staff and owner will personally guide you through your evening as easy as the breeze that blows through it. The cuisine is authentic to the region and the cocktails are a mesmerizing blend of history and culture. As a world traveler, this is one of the most memorable places I will take with me and look forward to coming back
Thank you Wild Tulum and thank you Karen.

A few friends and I came to Tulum for my 30th bday. We stumbled across this restaurant while strolling through the beach on a Monday night. The food and the experience were absolutely amazing. Half way through our dinner, Karen (the owner) introduced herself and proceeded to provide us with all the invaluable local insights (as well as some delicious drinks) that raised our trip from amazing to absolutely unforgettable. A true “can’t miss” location!

Wild feels like a hidden gem - tucked away down the far end of the hotel zone, if you're looking for good food and atmosphere without the thumping music that a lot of restaurants in Tulum have, Wild is your place!
The food is innovative and delicious. Service is friendly - they were a tad understaffed the night we want, and we waited quite a long time between our entree and main, and whilst we didn't mind as we were happy just chatting away, our waiter was very apologetic and even comped our dessert as a thank you for being patient.
We ordered the el pastor dumplings (super tasty), the truffle ravioli (after reading reviews about it on here!) and the catch of the day. For me the stand out dish was the catch of the day.
For dessert we tried two - the coconut granita (again after reading many reviews that mentioned it) and this delicious banana/dulce de leche/coffee waffle which was so different to anything I'd had before and super tasty!!
The coconut granita was really refreshing, would definitely recommend if you're a fan of coconut.
Side note: it's quite dark (combo of not much lighting and being outside) so didn't get any photos of the food, and we actually used our torches to have a look when it came out so we could fully appreciate how they looked!

We had an excellent dinner at this absolutely beautiful restaurant, nestled in the jungle of Tulum.
From the minute you enter, you're transported into a unique space that has an immediate feel of a good evening. It's relaxed, mature, elegant and with great smells coming from the kitchen, you know you're in for a treat.
We started off with a selection of their finely crafted classic cocktails that are stunning, skillfully made and a sprinkle of fun. From light and fruity, to something a bit more punchy - each is deliciously understated. A tell-tale sign of any top international restaurant.
We got the 8 course tasting menu, where every dish was skillfully crafted and absolutely fantastic. From the Campeche prawns that showcases the local flavours, to the Grilled Octopus that gives a welcome bit of heat, or even a lighter Beetroot Salad that's just top-notch. Chef Norman Fenton's whole menu is stunningly progressive, and a whole lot more delicious.
To round it off, WILD provided fantastic service and knowledgeable staff.
Impeccable. No wonder we come back here, again and again! See you next year.

We dined our last evening in Tulum in Wild. The dishes are exquisitely designed and bursting with flavor. Lucas our waiter explained each dish to us. The ingredients are fresh and the presentation is impeccable. We had the local catch sea bass and vegan alternative to the aguachile with avocado instead as well as a lovely vegan dessert I can only describe as succulent with layers of coconut, crushed lemon/lime (?) ice, crunchy almond, amaranth and more. I highly recommend this restaurant, they make an effort to provide a delightful dining experience.

Gorgeous ambiance and definitely wild. We were bitten alive (as can be expected in the jungle) and we saw a raccoon walk through which was fun. Service was lacking (we had to keep finding our servers to check in, order drinks etc). Food was cold which apparently it was supposed to be...but you kind of want ravioli and taquitos to be at least warm when you first eat them? Also everything lived up to hotel district prices and then some. SMALL portions for miminum $395/450+ peso price. Not filling. There are other restaurant options here in hotel district that are better in my opinion. Left dinner hungry. One good thing: their Grapefruit Mezcal beverage was insane.

We had a fantastic time at Wild recently. Set on the beach road, this elegant restaurant is in a lush jungle garden with tables interspersed amongst the palms. The food matches the gorgeous setting: We had a delicious aguachile and flavorful dumplings al pastor. The showstopper was the huitlacoche agnollotti: pasta parcels filled with a corn delicacy and served with a corn foam. It was a spectacular dish. Our waiter, Germán, was attentive without being obtrusive and his recommendations were spot on. The cocktails are worth the trip alone. Don't miss Wild set away from the noise of the other end of the strip. Very upscale and memorable evening.

Although there are VERY good dining options in Tulum, this is the BEST...if you had to have only one amazing dinner....this is where you need to go!
I recommend you try multiple items to enjoy the deliciousness of the chef's creativity. The ravioli was our favorite...we had to order a second order because we just couldn't get enough of the fabulous flavors with one order!
The ambience is what you would hope for and imagine when it comes to island/Tulum dining.
I would STRONGLY recommend you eat there if you are any type of foodie!!
