Leaving this review saddens me as today the bat has been forced to closed as a result of COVID19. That being said it was our second trip in a fortnight and this is a great place to spend a chilled out day by a fantastic...beach. Staff are always friendly and helpful and food very tasty. We were sad to be your last customers today but rest assured we will return again. Saty safe everyone xMore

We dropped by for a day last weekend & ended up staying for the week. Turners Beach is world class. Blue turquoise, clear water and white crisp sand. For years it's needed a chill out beach bar like this to do it justice. The vibe...is down tempo - relaxed with chilled out tunes and a friendly welcome. The format is great : you can hang out all day using the shared shaded space with bean bags and eat in the bar, or for 5* experience rent a gazebo for 6 USD per person for the day. This gives you shade, 2 sun loungers outside and a huge hammock. The soft furnishings are comfy & the whole place feels a cut above. Food & drink aren't so cheap but tasty & reasonable for a prime location with table service - if you want quality, get your wallet out... You even get a button to press & then one of the team arrives sharpish. Big shout out to Angel, Jay and Emma who were great - felt more like spending time with friends. Top tips: get a gazebo near the bar for better WiFi access & preferably the one with the hammock. The spiny lobster is ridiculously good & the coconut crush is worth every calorie.More

This location is stunning. Cabanas are comfortable (there is a cover charge to use these) and nice to have sun loungers available. Food was fair to middling, nothing special. Drinks are very expensive. Service is average - you may wait a while although they do...have a buzzer to call the server over.More

Our FAVORITE Beach Day For Sure! We spent the day in a lovely cabana with a picnic table, benches (that you could sit in OR use as lounge chairs) and with a hammock and two more lounge chairs in the sun. We were right on...the gorgeous teal blue Caribbean waters. The beach was very walkable, however there is a steep drop a short way from the entrance to the water. Yet, we had a gentle breeze to cool us! The staff was super friendly and the food was good...the fries were served hot, the coleslaw was crispy and the burger was tasty (a bit smoky for my taste buds, but my hubby loved it) and cooked perfectly. We highly recommend this place!More

My husband and I stayed at the Rum Bus Beach for three nights and loved it. It is simple accommodation but perfectly comfortable. The bus was very clean and made for a quirky end to our holiday. A fab outdoor shower where crabs like to...visit in the evenings! Be aware that a friend of the owner may pop in downstairs (totally separate), he gave us a bit of a shock in the middle of the night when we could hear movement! During the day the place has a nice vibe, chilled out staff who, once they warm up are incredibly hospitable and kind. Show them respect and kindness and they do the same. They made our stay really enjoyable and we really appreciated the efforts they made to make our stay a happy one. The food is good and so are the drinks! It is a stunning location and we would love to go back. Next door to it is OJ’s restaurant which was nice in the evenings. We enjoyed eating at a local place as opposed to in a big, chain hotel. Antigua is beautiful, as are the people. The Rum Bus Beach was a really happy time for us. Enjoy the views, the sun, the rum and the happy smiley staff.More

Horrible service yet another great views. Had to go to the bar to get service instead of them coming to one of the ten cabanas. They wait staff was very rude but the bartenders were very kind. Only reason I would go back is the...view and the beach. Kitchen closes at 4:30pm. We arrived at 3:00pm and they wouldn’t serve us food. Steer clear of this place.More
