We walked there from the campsite with the intent off a couple of drinks and a snack, we were slightly disappointed and as a real ale drinker I find £4.50 for an average pint very expensive. It is more a restuarant than pub and certainly had lots of custom on the Sunday we were there

We brought my parents here for their anniversary dinner. The food was wonderful, the staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful, and there was a nice atmosphere. The menu was very varied. We shared camembert & figs and Thai tempura fish to start. I had slow cooked goat with courgette and crispy chick peas, my partner had beef bavette with... More

Popped here with friends a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to see my friend's band perform here in the evening. Everything was fine, good choice of drinks. Very intimate and cosy venue. Only two downsides were their website and facebook was not up to date as I looked before going which stated all drinks on Fridays were £2.50,... More

Visiting the area and this place was recommended by our campsites manager, concierge camping. We were not disappointed. We turned up without a reservation but they found a table for us. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and lived up to expectations.

The Richmond Arms has become a regular Friday evening haunt for us, despite it being some way from home. The atmosphere is immediately welcoming and convivial, assisted by the charming and very appetizing pizza van, which is a permanent installation in front of the building. Staff and customers are friendly and engaging and the whole experience is coordinated by the... More

We ate in the Richmond Arms as it was recommended by the caravan site we were staying at, and we wanted a nice place to eat as we had some guests who were travelling to see us. We booked for lunch which was lucky as the dog friendly part of the pub is only open on a Friday and Saturday... More
