A first class dinner. We have been several times before and it never fails to deliver. Delicious food - the selection of starters is so delicious that it is hard to choose just one. Staff are lovely especially their Front of House, Anna who as well as being incredibly efficient is always so welcoming.

We've visited The Richmond Arms several times and each one has been a delight! Our recent visit was just before Christmas. The food as ever was very good and Jacks eye for detail is clear to see. The produce they use is locally sourced and beautifully prepared. Its a no frills type restaurant, devoid of the pretentions, but that's its... More

An adventurous menu matched by a wine list with several 'natural wines' including a sparking delight from Oregano and a fab Loire Rose. A packed main dining room without feeling crowded. Joyful staff. Well worth the £12-14 cab ride from Chichester.

So...to answer my question..The Richmond Arms is,in my opinion,on a culinary par with Fat Olives (Emsworth). The quality of the food we chose was: flavoursome, cooked to perfection & stylishly presented.Customer service from beginning to end was attentive but not intrusive. It is worth noting that this is a popular pub,so plan ahead when booking. We will return in the new... More

In the Chichester area it is my favourite place to eat. Firstly the menu is different from anywhere else that you go, they take real trouble with providing something you can find elsewhere. On this occasion I had the pheasant which was delicious and their warm runny scotch egg as a starter is not to be missed. The service is... More

We enjoyed Sunday Lunch at The Richmond Arms yesterday. The menu has been put together with care and the ingredients are the very best. The cooking is outstanding and the attention from the front of house staff is just right. Our enjoyment was completely ruined, however, by a really loud, large, family birthday party sharing the space with us. A... More

Probably the best Sunday lunch out ever. Very impressed with the welcome, menu choice and service. Choice of wines good and food excellent. We will return.

Popped in here, without a reservation, on Sunday. They were busy but the lady behind the bar offered us a table so long as we could be finished within a certain time. We decided on the roast beef, which was plentiful, with all the trimmings and we were not disappointed as it was delicious. The staff were friendly and the... More

We visited for my father-in-laws 60th birthday lunch and everything was just lovely. We were a large group, with lots of adults and a good handful of young children. The staff were accommodating and very friendly. The food was excellent and the pub was charming. Can't wait to return.
