The Richmond Arms has become a regular Friday evening haunt for us, despite it being some way from home. The atmosphere is immediately welcoming and convivial, assisted by the charming and very appetizing pizza van, which is a permanent installation in front of the building. Staff and customers are friendly and engaging and the whole experience is coordinated by the... More

We ate in the Richmond Arms as it was recommended by the caravan site we were staying at, and we wanted a nice place to eat as we had some guests who were travelling to see us. We booked for lunch which was lucky as the dog friendly part of the pub is only open on a Friday and Saturday... More

Great pub in a lovely location. The staff were extremely friendly and very efficient. The food was great. We can recommend the scotch egg and thai fish tempura starters and fillet and bean parcel mains - all very tasty. Will visit again soon!

you have to go a long way to better the food here, there is always a new surprise on offer, and so good to be offered things you have never tried before. Never been disappointed although you must book or you will be.

We've been trying to book a table here for some time.... and this time we were lucky in so many ways. The local ale was excellent! We had olives and squid nibbles from the light bite menu whilst we enjoyed searching through the menu. Starters chosen were oak fired octopus and a delightful fresh barbecued mackerel. Mains were Ribeye and... More

This is one of our favourite places to eat. They never let us down. We had Sunday lunch there today with our daughter and granddaughter. I had the asparagus crackling and poached egg starter, heaven on a plate, then the roast beef which was outstanding and finally the B52 Brûlée. My granddaughter loved the homemade honey Comb ice cream so... More

Pizza night is fantastic but you need to book, to avoid disappointment. If you like the thought of an old Citroen panel van with a stone fired oven inside and you like nothing other than pizza this is the place to go. If however you like a proper meal Richmond arms can do that also in the restaurant but as... More

Our foodie friends suggested this venue as a half way meeting point between Winchester and Storrington and full marks to them. A good feeling on entering the bar area and .a warm welcome from the lady owner. The whole place has style in every corner. As other reviewers have said the food iwas really good, is quite different from the... More
