1st Visit, will definitely come back

3 of us for High Tea. We will definitely be coming back. Very good selection of sandwiches, along with sausage roll and savoury pastry, very tasty. Apple raisin scone fantastic, and the assortment of mini cupcakes, tarts, and cakes tasty. The addition of fresh fruit garnishes a very nice touch. We were very impressed.

This is better than high tea at The Empress Hotel! The staff were friendly, prompt, accommodating, helpful, and attentive. The food was amazing as well as the presentation. Lots of flavourful teas to choose from. Will definitely go back! If you'd like a special treat or to treat a special person, take them here. You will not be disappointed.

lovely building lovely food great staff

I greatly enjoyed seeing the building , which housed a general store in 1932 the cupcakes are amazing, of course, but so was the lunch. they accommodated my peculiarities and made a great sandwich and super salad the staff are just lovely. I will be back for afternoon tea sometime, which is at a better price than any other place I know.

So disappointed

Its Friday afternoon 2:00 pm and we are driving by so decide to pop in for a high tea as only 1 table occupied I checked the website and nowhere did it say you must make a reservation. No high tea left, not scones left. Only muffins and cinnamon buns. So I ordered a cinnamon bun. It arrived cold and on taking a bite found it completely dehydrated on the outside. I did mot have the courage to explore the inside. It was either last weeks baking or had been dried out in a microwave previously. On discussion with the server I was offered the option to warm it. This only made it worse. I abandoned it and they st least did not charge me. Anyways, we left feeling very disappointed. So much hope of a lovely tea and escape from lockdown was such a disaster. We have always enjoyed coming here but this is probably our last visit. They really fid not want our business. Sad.

Awful, Never Again

My daughter and I came for 'High Tea' and were very, very disappointed. Sandwiches are 1/4 sandwiches one thin slice deli meat, thin slice cheese, single slice lettuce with no condiment on the extremely dry bread; strawberries that were obviously ready for the trash, dry and wilted, and when I say dirty cutlery I mean hadn't seen a dishwasher/sink. I'm sure that this 'high tea' platter was made 'at least' the day before, not fresh at all. Did I mention bland !! Left half of it and departed hungry. We will never go back, nor recommend.

Dear Kaeryn, Though I appreciate the "honest feedback" and as I, the owner, sat next to you yesterday to go over your "concerns" and then Comped your high tea for 2- that you are still quite dissatisfied. I went table to table after you and your daughter left (after an hour of sitting in our cafe) and every other table raved about our high tea. It seems that pleasing you might be a challenge- so we wish you every success elsewhere.

Was there for Mad Hatter high tea! Was absolutely fabulous in fact so wonderful this was my second time this month. Staff especially Mr. Hatter were superb. Location awesome. Atmosphere outstanding. Thank you all at Tracycakes!

We went for High tea and were quite disappointed..the servings for 3 was minimal....3 finger sandwiches each, very dried up tiny sausage roles....one scone and a few sweets..hmmm...not what we used to be served. The waitress was inattentive...spent time sitting down behind the cash register and not bothering to check to see if our tea needed refreshing.....

FIRST VISIT----- LAST VIST...NOTHING "FANCY" ABOUT THIS PLACE

The First Mistake was Going Through the Door. There was NOTHING "Fancy" about This "High Tea" (Sandwich and coffee shop) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Dirty Dishes (on Tables) 2. We had to ask "THEM" to Clean Our Table 3. We Were Never Brought Utensils (We Grabbed Clean Utensils off Another Table) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. Coffee and Soup Luke warm (We asked Them to Reheat Coffee...... We only took ONE SIP.......and were brought back..... One coffee FULL and the Other Almost Empty) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 5. We had Our Soup Reheated (They Must of left the "FLAVOR in the Kitchen.... The $10 Soup was TASTELESS......The Biscuit with it.............DRY!!!!!!!!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. It took 1 Hour to clean 2 Tables....While Standing at the Counter. 7. These Young Girls Obviously DID NOT want to be there. 8. Then they had the "GULL" to Ask US........... "How was Your Meal?" I could GO ON....But Why Bother........The Worst Experience I have ever had....... It is the Murrayville Location........FIRST TIME....LAST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can I turn your frown- upside down? Please email me at tracy@tracycakesonline.com and I will respond. Also would love you to note- the sign behind the cash register that says "if we did not meet your expectations , tell us how to turn your forwn upside down." Also since you were so upset- I dont really expect a response but would welcome one anyway~ Tracy PS did you have "high tea?" (or just need to note that in your review>) Did you make a reservation? Thanks for noting the Flavor in the kitchen- we do make the soups from scratch and we are sorry you didnt find that enjoyable~ I wish you every success elsewhere.

Enjoyed a lovely high tea with our 8 year old daughters

My friend and I took our 3 girls, ages 8 and 10 to Tracycakes today and thoroughly enjoyed our high tea experience. Our server was wonderful with the girls, super friendly and engaging and made them feel very special for their 8th birthdays. The tea and food was all fresh and yummy, and all for a reasonable price. I would definitely go back. The only thing I might add is maybe don't go if you are in a big rush. We were enjoying our conversation so it wasn't a big deal, but it was a while before our orders were taken, and before our bill was brought to the table.

Service Was Horrible

Went for lunch with my girlfriend. The place was maybe have full. We sat at a table and waited. Nice decor, very quaint, but my chair rocked side to side and so did the table. Waitress approached us after 10 minutes of sitting there. Sorry she said, we are short a body today. We ordered water, tea, and a coffee. We waited, and waited, water came but no hot drinks. We waited, and waited, and finally left.

Quaint, relaxing and great food

Great place for a girls get together or a shower, mom and daughter time. High tea is so much fun and you really feel special. The sandwiches are sooo good! Have a french vanilla latte!

A fancy place for expensive treats

We came here for a birthday lunch. It was quaint and homey. We had sandwiches followed by cupcakes. Red velvet is always my go to...yumm! This place was really busy and noisy on the Saturday we went.
