This was my first visit to Sandalford for several years and I certainly won’t leave it too long before I return. I visited for lunch with my cousin who was visiting from New South Wales. Service was impeccable and friendly. While we could only manage...to eat the focaccia entree and the WA seafood risotto both dishes were a cut above. We both enjoyed a glass of the Sandalford Chenic Blanc - superb. Well done Sandalford! I will spread the word.More

We didn’t know what to expect when we walked in the restaurant but we were so happy and satisfied with our lunch when we left. We had the vegan Cotoletta, that it taste almost like a real one! Buttata with figs delicious! We also shared...a pizza, Funghi, prosciutto and parmigiano!! As Italian I can say that it was just perfect! Well done!More

We visited the restaurant for lunch mid-week. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we got there but quite busy by the time we left. It's the first time we've been there since the major refurbishment last year and it's a much better space now. Very...well done. When we arrived we were offered a table outside or inside. We chose the latter as it was a tiny bit cool although there were people sat outside. The tables had tablecloths which was good to see. We went with tap water while we reviewed the menu. Service was very good as it was throughout our whole visit. We each went with a main, a glass of wine and a bowl of chips to share. Plus I managed a dessert and my wife an affogato at the end. My wife is a risotto connoisseur and rated her seafood risotto as the best she's ever had. Rice beautifully cooked and the dish full of prawns, scallops and, apparently, the most gorgeous crayfish pieces. I love lamb which meant the lamb dish on offer leaped out at me. The lamb rump didn't look like a big dish when it arrived but it was actually quite filling. Two fat pieces of rump in a light jus with feta. Surprisingly a great combination. Also some carrot and dates adding to the middle eastern feel. The lamb was melt-in-the-mouth. Excellent. My soft meringue roulade was a work of art. Quince and pear wrapped in light and soft meringue and accompanied by tiny cubes of jelly, tiny mounds of cream, tiny mounds of strawberry and small pieces of dried rhubarb. Gorgeous. It's not the cheapest restaurant in Perth but with our Entertainment Book voucher it came in at just over $100. The wine, by the way, was lovely. My wife rated her unwooded chardonnay as "best in show" and went and bought two bottles on the way to the car. As an aside, to highlight some of the stuff staff have to put up with, a pretentious couple a few tables away from us were amazing. The guy had a loud voice and was making great demands on the staff - e.g. come and take the next part of our order in 10 minutes - and then topped it off by calling one of the young women staff members "darling" and then later "sweetie". Yuck.More

Dear Victoria & the amazing staff, I want you to know how much I appreciate the excellent service you provided on Sunday the 11th of April when I took my friends out for lunch to celebrate my birthday. Victoria was able to organize a table...for 12 people in two hours notice. The staff were friendly and professionals and provided service with a smile. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. We had such a great time. Thank you again. Your happy customer, EmmyMore

Today my sister and brother in law treated our grandmother and I to a birthday lunch here and it was lovely. The food was amazing, the staff were brilliant and very accommodating. They even organised a lift for our grandmother back to the car as...she was struggling to walk. Couldn't fault them at all and definitely recommend Sandalfords to anyone and everyone!More

We visited on Friday evening and the restaurant had only a handful of people in. There were lots of staff but were not very attentive. Starters good but mains very poor and steaks were tasteless. $44 for a steak, green leaf salad and mayonnaise didn't...deliver. Plates not cleared away for starters and mains arrived without cutlery. For a place charging upmarket prices this needs to improve. Had lunch a few weeks ago and pizza was excellent. Dissapointed with the with evening service and quality of food.More

Of course babies are welcomed. We sat near a table that a young couple had a little one in a high chair. The child thoroughly enjoyed the attention, and the parents were lovely.
