if you want to eat roasted pork in Jogja, this I was told is the place to do it.
We went there for lunch but was told there was no roasted pork.
Its only sold on Wed, Sat and Sun, up till 5pm.
No one...ever said this? Nonetheless, we went back there nx time to try it.
It was okay, nothing much to shout about.
We had better ones in Bali.
But if you were craving for pork with rice, this place will do. Just remb the days.More
It is no exaggeration to write the above title because I have faith that for God's creation food, there is no haram. As an adventurer I think everyone deserves to enjoy delicious food such as in Babi Guling Bima Kroda to complete the adventure story...with grilled meat with spicy soy sauce to make the tongue dance in the mouth cavity watered with red wine.More
I always come to this place when I am in Yogyakarta. It's one of my 'to do list' activities. Foods taste great with cheap price. You can feel "Bali's atmosphere" there since it plays gamelan bali as music background.
It's a must visit place if...you like pork!More
They only served Babi guling on certain day (Thursday, Saturday). I went there on Friday. Babi guling ‘kosong’. But I try satey Babi and kacang hijau (vege). The satey is tasty & juicy (not too dried from over-burnt charcoal). I love it. The vege is...too spicy for me but it goes along with satey so well. Plan your day well if you want to try Babi guling.
It is a simple restaurant, don’t expect air-con or service. Very localised.More
We ordered nasi campur with extra pork satay.. all were delicious but a bit spicy for kids.. good thing they can prepare non spicy satay for my kids (10 minute waiting time)..
Another good news the price was cheap ... 2 nasi campur 10 piece...of satay, cofee and ice tea ... IDR 97 K.
Definitely will come back..More
Expecting the same famous nasi bali in bali (pak ma*en), turn out not the same but not bad too. Satay was tender and kids love it. This is the only not spicy food. Too bad did not got a change to try babi guling due...to they only have it on certain days.More
