First time I went there, I was quite surprised with the crowd. The coffee is good, banana fried is the top one. Second time, I went there with friends. It was awful. The place is so full, the room can't fit people even to pick...up the food. The food has a lot of MSG (which I can pick it straight away since I am allergy with it). The waiters are likely to be arrogant whenever we asked about our orders If you want to have better food, just go to other places.More

You shouldn’t miss their famous Fried Banana (pisang goreng) and the Mixed vegetable soup with coconut milk (sayur lodeh), while seeing the beauty of mount Merapi... And surely their local black coffee is a must ordered or for those who cant drink coffee, the traditional...tea will definitely bring us back as Indonesian to the 80’s age 👌🏽😉More

Amazing taste with amazing view. I really recommended to try fried banana (pisang goreng) they’re just perfect with the sweetness and tenderness 👍🏼👍🏼

Nice view, very instagrammable if you want to take some shots. Delicious food (must try: pisang goreng, tempeh goreng) and beverages (the coffee itself)

Most delicious: fried banana combined with its black coffee. For main courses they some kinds of Sayur Lodeh and special fried crispy omelets

Not just the food but the place is unique. Can't really put a finger on what's the buzz or attraction about the place but it sure can pull in the crowd. Laid back and a place to chill for breakfast and brunch though the menu...is limited.More

I note that most of the reviewers are Indonesian, so this review is from a British national perspective. We have been to Indonesia many times and lived in Indonesia for 3 years many years ago. Warung Kopi is very famous so we decided to walk...there from the villa where we stayed. First impressions were that it was very, very busy - a good sign. We managed to grab the last available table on the outside terrace. Service is not great and the menu is limited. What is unique about Warung Kopi is it's vibrant atmosphere, eclectic mix of people all sitting talking & joking and drinking the unique Indonesian coffee (very strong) and lovely ginger tea. There was queue's of people for the food which was limited in choice but very tasty (and spicy). We ate and drank to our hearts content whilst experiencing the great vibe in what felt like a very old wooden building. Finally, the cost US$ 11 in total for 5 people. We will be going back!!!!More

I brought my grups here and they are so happy with delicious food, not only that, they have coffee, and black tea that also very nice. Cheap is the key to enjoy the whole meal here
