First, theres only chicken, no mutton or beef. But the date was good, a bit spicy & sweet, big stick and very filling. Owner was friendly and quite chatty. Highly recommended for those who love sate!
Indonesia is known as home to various types of satay. This one is a chicken satay, but one that will bring any satay lover to the next level. Excellent taste and texture. Addictively delicious. I myself can take two portions of red satay, the most...favorite. The chicken claws (ceker ayam) are also amazingly delicious.More
We came to this restaurant because many friends in Jakarta suggested us to visit this restaurant. We found out that the food are really really good. All of their signature dishes are super tasty..sate ayam merah, lilit basah and ceker tugel..you really have to try...their food!! Its already visited by guests from 80 countriesMore
I never expected that menu satay here was so delicious! From the main menu, Sate Ayam Merah became my favorite. Because I didn't like peanut sauce, here in Sate Ratu, they used secret recipe-red sauce for deliver the taste in meat. Their satay also had...a generous portion for one person. Don't forget to taste their Sate Kulit! The sauce was same as Sate Ayam Merah, the chicken skin was so tasty and juicy. I'm sure I'm gonna visit Sate Ratu again :)More
I've tried many sate back in my Hometown in Malaysia, but this, it's truly amazingly delicious. We went there on a saturday night with our tour guide and we're truly amazed with the quality of the meat served. The boss, Mr Fabian is friendly and...approachable! We added on another plate of rice because it was too good to be true. Not exaggerating! Highly recommended! We came back on the next day but unfortunately it was close on the Sunday. Hopefully you'll open one up in bukit bintang =)More
Hai Jen...thanks for reviewing Sate Ratu, and especially thanks for your coming. So sorry to know that you come back again on Sunday...hehehe..i can imagine your face when you find out that we are closed...say hi to Cherryl and Sharon also, i will let all...More
The owner of the restaurant is lovely and his idea about tracking countries people are from is great . Also his video testimony idea is very creative. The food is very very inexpensive. The flavour of the sauce is good but the meat is really...fatty. My husband and I had to spit out 30% of what we were eating onto our plates. Really gross. But we could not eat it. The menu is really limited. Basically steamed rice and chicken satay. He needs to add a few more dishes, and get better quality meat even if it means charging more, The prices are so low that no one would ever complain about spending a little more to get better quality foodMore
hi mam..thanks for visiting Sate Ratu and give us review..actually we have to use the skin (not fat) to make the satay tasteful because of its oil...if we dont use akin, the meat will not be the same, its good but not juicy..but we are...More
This is the best satay ever that i’ve tried. Sate merah is the best one, it’s sweet, litte bit spicy and delicious. For price, i think it’s also affordable.
After few months, finally i can come back to this place again, now with my big family, and introduce them to the super yummy sate ayam merah, lilit basah and the new one:kuah polos...they still served the best food!
When common chicken satay in Indonesia tastes sweet covered by soy souce, this satay has good balance of sweet and spicy souce. It costs IDR 23.000 for 6 sticks/portion, worth a lot to the delicious taste it offers. Dine in would also be nice because...the restaurant is located in a green atmosphere foodcourt with many choices of Asian cuisines.More
