Restaurant has a great location by the waters edge with a lovely view. The portions were huge, we both couldn’t eat all ours! Meal and local wines very reasonably priced. Very enjoyable and tasty.

Do not take pasta carbonara

Ordered 2 pasta Carbonara and was tasteless. Did barely touch the food but was charged for both. Did not even ask if we wanted something else.

Such a romantic setting

Situated in this small inlet right on the waters edge offering a panoramic view of the village. We ate in the evening when all the lights were on giving a wonderful backdrop. The food is varied and wholesome with a good selection of fish dishes....We all chose the Lamb shank which was fabulous. A great restaurant for a romantic meal.More

Recipe missing something

Nice friendly service, nice along the seafront. Don’t order gargenella with chicken pesto, as there’s no chicken in it. Food nice all the same

Excellent location

Excellent location on the sea front. Great food and quick service, the octopus was particularly good. We ate outside, but inside looked good as well, very clean and with interesting character features.

Avoid avoid avoid

Definitely one to avoid in Xlendi! Other restaurants around the bay are considerably better than this one. The service and manners of the waiters are incredibly poor, so much so we left before ordering food having been asked to move to a table further back...when a family of five came into the restaurant after us - even though we had already been seated?! Crazy!!More

Excellent lunch

Excellent service and a fabulous lunch. I had the duck salad. Loads of duck, figs and cashew nuts. Very good quality and value for money!!

Evening meal after harbour stroll

Fantastic location on the harbour edge. Food delicious - complimentary garlic bread. Portion size very generous think we ordered too many appetisers. Wonderful service and would highly recommend

All fur and no underwear (go, you’ll know).

I wasn’t in the best of moods and have uprated my score of two stars to three to deflate unintended bias. The service was chaotic in the Maltese sense. It was never panicked, but it was slow to play out. We (a thrice) went for...the ‘fabled’ fish and chips* Huge! Looked stunning! Wasn’t. It wasn’t for us and while we couldn’t recommend, that’s just our pov based on decades of exceptional fish and chips. We also didn’t raise concerns with the establishment which denies them a right of reply / opportunity to remedy. But with that all in mind, it was agreed this was a poor offering. *my words, not the establishment’s.More

Churchills as good as ever

Location food wine & service excellent. Tuna steak awesome, Swordfish steak superb. Sitting by the sea watching the world go by & drinking a Carafe of Rose wine is an excellent way of spending a long lunch in Xlendi. After 12 year's experience the owners...& staff have never let us down. Special mention to our waiter, Adrian, who was attentive, smiling & a brilliant photographer.More

Best beef on the island, beautiful view, great service!!

This was and is still one of the best places I have eaten in Gozo. I highly recommend the hot plated beef! What a treat. We come here every year and will come back tonight as this is outstanding. The service is also great, we...were attended to for every need with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!More
