For my 17th Birthday I decided I wanted to go to Gozo! We have been coming here for as long as I can remember and we absolutely love it but the one thing that makes it so special is Tmun, our favourite restaurant! I came away with my Grandparents and my friend but insisted that we came to Tmun even... More

Ate here when staying in Gozo in the Autumn. It is one of the harbour-front restaurants in Mgarr. It is often case that eateries in this sort of location are rather ordinary - NOT Tmun! This is a truly great place to eat - the manager is very friendly and the food really first class - meat, fish, starters -... More

We have traveled to 20+ countries and eaten out around the world. In five days in Malta, Tmun tied for first (with Palazzo Preca in Valetta) as the finest meal. I got the carpaccio of swordfish and a trio of local pork. My girlfriend got the sunchoke soup and the swordfish fillet. Everything was utterly delicious. Ambiance and service were... More

Dinner at Tmun is becoming a tradition; an intricate part of our visits to Gozo. It is cosy in winter, breezy in summer - as its name implies, it's like a seaworthy vessel - it can handle every season, it's a restaurant for all seasons. Tonight was tender beef cheeks divvied out in gossamer light ravioli envelopes topped with aged... More

Tmun is possibly the best cuisine of the highest standards in Gozo. Although to date, I've only tried the fresh swordfish which was sublime, and the grilled calamari which was prepared to perfection. My guess and from Tmun's excellent reputation that everything on the menu is delicious. Cost is very reasonable. I look forward in returning.

Our visit was for lunch and only two other parties were present. My wife had chicken that was truly memorable. Cooked correctly, firm and moist with a sympathetic choice of vegetables. I had the sea urchin spaghetti which was delicious and definitely recommended. A good selection of wines although probably a little over priced. Overall it justifies it's TripAdvisor rating.

For many years it is our favorite restaurant on Gozo. Food is very good, menu is creative, and dishes are beautiful. Service is very friendly and professional. Save place for famous cheesecake, made by Jane, the owner and chef. Often we watch from the table guys bringing their horses to wash in the sea. Go for a walk on the... More

It is not the cheapest restaurant on Gozo but the fish is their freshest.I had the languitine and my partner had the grouper and both were extraordinary. The bill together with a bottle of wine came to about 50 Euros and they gave us free limoncello at the end.

We visited Tmun on local recommendation and had a superb meal with 10 friends. The variety and quality was first class and we will be returning as soon as we can. They are also happy to apply corkage if you want to bring a particular wine although the wine list is excellent. Probably the best restaurant in Gozo and must... More
