We had dinner here one evening whilst on holiday. Lovely building and we were lucky to have a table on the terrace. An extensive menu of standard and traditional Maltese dishes. Service was good including the young persons who were clearly learning. I had the...fish and my wife had Tuscan chicken. Not as good as our homemade version haha! But still good. Sweets were nice and large portions. Slightly more expensive but still worth a visit!More

We went here because it looked nice and reviews where good. It was a bad experience, we order pasta and fish for 4 adults and 2 kids. We had to wait more than 1hr for the food to be served, kids were getting frustrated to...wait so long. When the food arrive it was tasteless, the fish was swimming in water, not sure why, it was undercooked and with no flavor. It's too expensive for what it is. Wouldn't go back again.More

Booked for a special occasion, unfortunately we were let down by this restaurant. The service was basically awful, we placed our order and then had to wait for an hour before the starters arrived, during that time we weren't even offered bread, which is normally...a standard. When the starters arrived we had to one send one back because it was cold, also it was supposed to be a lamb samosa but there was no lamb in it. We then had a further hour wait for our mains, I mentioned the long wait to a server who stated that the restaurant was busy but to be honest it was only half full so I am not sure that excuse had much credence. We didn't stay for dessert as we wanted to get home the same day we entered the restaurant!! However to be fair the food was good, even the samosa once they had been cooked. I have certain amount of empathy for the servers who were generally very pleasant. Having said that it will be a long time before we return or if ever to be honest. Summing up this was supposed to be a special evening but it was totally spoilt by bad service.More

We had chef special fish and they said it would be grilled. Oh my, it has NO flavour at all. If not because I can taste the salt on the accompanying veg I’d thought I had Covid and lost my sense of taste. I don’t...think it is grilled but more like baked but with no flavour. (I have done a Covid test and I’m negative so I def didn’t lose my sense of taste) We also learnt later on during our trip that the Mediterranean is heavily overfished with many fish stock at brink of collapse. We felt very guilty of having ordered fish and have stuck to a vegetarian diet since. (Many fish here were net caught which brings a lot of by-catch).More

I had the fried rabbit with fries and it was amazing! Nice ambiente, friendly waiters and good food, will come again!

Lovely traditional food - we had rabbit and fish of the day, both well cooked. A good wine selection on the menu and the local Maltese wine was good value and tasty. The staff were friendly and prompt.

We had an excellent meal here on our recent trip. Superb food and very friendly staff. The restaurant felt like a special night out. Sat in the conservatory type area at the front of the restaurant - lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Outstanding, Delicious, Unique, Avantgarde, Beautiful, Immaculate clean, Cordial management, Attentive staff all in one. Definitely not a place to miss both if you are a foreigner or a local. No restaurant on the island matches this place.

The food was no more than excellent!! We took 3 main and 2 starters. Any Each of them was excellent 👌 . Surly we will visit again and highly recommend to any of you.

We haven't eaten here for a while so were looking forward to a repeat of the excellent food and service we had had before. We were not disappointed at all. Friendly, attentive staff and a good menu with a wide selection of specials meant that...we had a pleasant evening with plenty to choose from. We had the butternut squash velouté and smoked salmon terrine to start - thoroughly recommend those two! Mains were venison and veal rib-eye - mmm, mmm, mmm! Accompanied by an excellent wine (1919 Gellewza), from the extensive menu which includes many fine quality local wines, we could not fault anything. Would we go back? Yes, travel restrictions permitting, we will be back. Thank you!More

We were sat at a lovely table on the enclosed heated terrace. Warmly greeted and impeccable service throughout. A lovely shared Brie starters with excellent red wine by the glass. Then for the mains . My veal on the bone was superb but unfortunately my...partner’s chicken in her meal was tough and chewy. On ordering she was told it was cooked in a bag and very tender. It was sent back and she was asked if she wanted to order something else. She went for the burger which was nice but as she had watched me eat alone and left to eat alone she left most of it as her appetite had waned. Nothing knocked off the bill and no offer of a free aperitif. This is one of our go to restaurants when in Malta so hopefully on our return we will see an improvement.
