Blu Beach Club is located at the end of Ghadira Bay, in Mellieha Bay, right on the water’s edge. Our restaurant and beach club is in unique location ideal for seaside relaxation during the day and buzzing with activity from morning till night. We are open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner and guests may enjoy a selection of salads, seafood, sushi, pasta, pizza and specialties from our wood-burning oven. Those guests who want to relax without dining can enjoy one of our cocktails served at the bar or on their sunbed, whilst enjoying the bay views. As we play our proudly curated music all day long, or welcome our selected artists to play live music, we look forward to seeing our guests enjoying our space and taking in the deserved relaxation during whichever part of the day they desire.

My partner and I went here for breakfast, as it was a bit breezy we ate indoors and then enjoyed a drink outside after our breakfast. We had poached eggs on Maltese bread with salad and it was great, eggs were very well cooked. The venue is in a great location and lovely decor both inside and out. The staff are very friendly and attentive. As we liked the restaurant so much we asked to see the dinner menu and booked a table for dinner. We had sushi which was lovely, fresh and delicious.

We live just up the road from Blu Beach Club & often eat here.
Recetly we had a farewell lunch for friends of ours who thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere & service.
Thanks to Peter who assisted us during our meal and drinks & made sure the kids were all well looked after.
We will be back soon. Especially in summer to relax on the loungers

Went in along with my friends while we are at Adeeera beach with out reservation, covid measures were right from the beginning were in places such as temperature checks , sanitizing stands and they even sanitize your tables and chairs infront of you , feels the utmost comfort. We had Trio of croquettes and cured smoked salmon along with 4 spicy China cocktails.We loved their attention to details and service personal were masters .
We left back by booking a table for 4 fir next Sunday. See you soon Blu Beach .

We visited for lunch and we were initially delighted as it is such a beautiful spot, I can't think of many nice places to eat lunch with the delightful sea view over the bay.
However, the service was just so so slow. We ordered a pizza, a salad and a kids meal and it took over an hour, which is just too long for lunch. I chased it up twice and I was informed both times it was on its way. When it did arrive, the waiter just put down the pizza in front of a person who didn't order it and then left to get the other food. It was only when I made it clear that we weren't happy that he apologised. There had been an issue with the pizza oven apparently but this should have been communicated to us while we were waiting, we could have changed our order, or had the other 2 dishes while we waited. The food was nice when it arrived but we wouldn't go again as the service was just so disappointing.

Had mussels for starter which were very good but it was such a huge portion I struggled to finish them and as I was mopping up the sauce the waiter came and cleared the table which was very bad manners as I was still eating, this made me feel conscious that I should stop and let them serve the mains, I had the salmon in coconut curry sauce, I got a huge portion of salmon which i thought would be served in a dish of sauce but no, there was only a splash of the sauce on one side, I couldn't even taste it so ended up just with salmon and veg (very dry). The restaurant is in a lovely location right on the sea front but the music is more suited to a nightclub, when you are eating and in company you want nice background music not loud blaring rubbish. Think the prices are very high for what you get.

I am having a hard time reading through all the 5 stars review. Yes the location of the restaurant/beach club is very nice and the views over the Melliha bay very enjoyable especially at night which is why I give it 2 stars but this is where the compliments stop.
We had dinner there and were not impressed with the food at all which was at best bland but mostly overcooked (seafood and fish) and unseasoned. Be also aware that prices are advertised on the menu only for the starters portion. Our server never asked which portion size we wanted so we were not very happy to see the charge for the big portion upon receiving the bill which we had to complain about to the manager. Service was overall sloppy - during the couple of hours we spent there, servers showed up to our table with mixed up orders at least 3 or 4 times.
In conclusion, great location for a drink at night but I would never go there for food again.

Had a great dinnet here at Blu Beach . We were a family of four and we all had camabemebert in filo pastry as our starter and for the maincourse we choose 4 differnt fish from their enterance display . Me and my son had seabass grilled while my wife and yunger son had seabream and red snapper both as oven baked . We got served 8 sides as a part of our maincourse . For desseerts we tried thier cheese cake and chocolate foundant . The food and the service were top class . Highly recomended .

Sethu and the team really looked after us. We popped in looking for an early dinner and were met with friendly, welcoming staff, gorgeous and classy interior design and decor, and a lovely atmosphere. The food we ordered was some of the nicest we have had in Malta and I haven’t had a bad meal on the island. The food was fresh, fragrant, tasty and well cooked, and the portions were generous. The drinks were well made and there was so much choice for alcoholic and non alcoholic. We didn’t dine with children but I could tell that the place was family friendly. Gorgeous views of Melilla bay and the staff are caring and considerate. Cannot fault and we will be back!

Absolutely awful. I used to frequent here often last year and the food and drinks were fabulous. Over the past few months I have given this place multiple chances to redeem itself. The food is terrible, from old steak to over salted seafood that’s practically inedible. For the location, ambience and prices you expect much much better quality food. The drinks are watered down, filled with way too much ice. When you ask them to remove the ice there is barely any alcohol left and the drinks are very weak and poorly made. Such a shame as last year the food and drinks matched the atmosphere and prices. Needs a major change.

We are a family of 6 and it was the first evening of our long a waited holiday after Covid. The staff were inexperienced and messed up our order which did not allow the family to all eat together. The food was very poor and the dining experience was spoilt and the meal was extremely over priced . The manager did redeem himself by giving us a free starter and a few soft drinks, but the damage was done. Would recommend staying away from this restaurant if possible as the staff,service,food and dining experience is well below poor!!!

Dont know really how to explain the level of quality service from vinish and his team members which we reived on yesturday night . Full packed restaurant, still their is people to look after you, recommeding their signature dishes , always topping up our water glasses and wine glasses, even they managed to wipe our table before dessert. This kind we never experienced in malta . Highly quality in every accepts it's best.
Well done vinish and crew you made our night a memorable one . Will recommend you to our family, friends and colleagues.

The setting, staff, ambience and food/drink here are all absolutely Amazing!
In particular - Jonathan was extremely attentive with canapes and all of the staff were so great at making sure everyone had a drink and felt very welcome.
I highly recommend this restaurant for a meal/drinks & or A Special Event as it honestly can't be beaten.

We are 2 adults and 2 children, this restaurant and insanely well designed. You pay €15 for the sun loungers, which are deducted when you consume them. I can highly recommend the food and it is very good and fresh in comparison. Happy hour cocktails are available from 4pm to 7pm, a shower is available on the terrace free of charge. If things get boring, jet skis, kayaks and boat rentals are right next door. The Blu Beach Club invites you to spend the whole day in a cozy atmosphere. Direct access to the sea is available. The waiters David and Billi spoiled us the last few days and gave us a feeling of secrecy on vacation. They really deserve the tip. I can only recommend fresh fish as a catch of the day to anyone who likes it fresh and culinary. We can really recommend this place to everyone. Supermarket, sandy beach and buses are within 1 minute, but who wants to leave here. cool sound and sea views create a pure holiday feeling. We thank all employees for a great holiday

A nice spot on the Main Street in Mellieha. This bar has seating for food and drinks outside and has an indoor restaurant. It was clean and inviting.
- Apart from the food being delicious and the cocktails being strong, the staff are amazing.
All are very polite, utterly attentive and make sure that your needs are met throughout the meal. The deserve tips! Thankyou 😌
- The food here, is served in good portions and tastes lovely. There are some delightful dishes such as coffee infused beef and home made meat ravioli. They also gave us some lovely home baked bread rolls with our starters.

We came for dinner in this restaurant without reservation. We wished to sit outside because of the view and good weather however, outside was already full that’s why we were offered to sit inside instead. We were immediately approached by Ms. Isabelle who was very friendly and charming. She suggested us some items according to our preferences and she was very efficient in taking our orders. It was busy but everything went very smooth. Highly recommend the place and the professionalism of Isabelle. We will definitely come back again and will make sure to make a reservation for outside next time! 😊
