We've frequented this place last year so with good memories we decided to book for our anniversary/ valentines. Wish we booked elsewhere and here's why. My salad of scallops and asparagus in vinegar dressing was excellent. My husband had fried Camembert. Our mains were topped with foi- for him, salmon and for me Filet with Ximenez sherry reduction sauce. Beautifully... More

We visited this restaurant on 8 February 2017, due to the favourable reviews. The food was expensive (21 euros for a fillet steak), at that price I would have expected good quality food, it was average at best. We had a good bottle of red wine very reasonably priced at approximately 10.85 euros, however when we got the bill they... More

Found this restaurant accidentally and had to go back for a second visit when I was hungrier !! I imagine this restautant is frequented more by locals ( as it's a good 10 mins drive to the coast ) and we were the only obvious holiday makers. Fantastic fresh tasty food. Really generous portions, on both occasions we had meat... More

For many years we used to go to La Camella to Meson las Rejas but sadly it closed three years ago. El Lajar de Bello by my husband's Belgian friend, so we thought we'd try it last night. It was quiet, being a Tuesday, but we were more than happy and the other 4 tables were very content and the... More

Visited this place a few months back and it was a real pleasure. The service and attention to detail is spot on. The quality of the meat products could be a bit better. Although i enjoyed the taste and cooking style the texture of the beef was a bit hard. I will definitely try this place again and i suggest... More

We were looking for somewhere new, both restaurant and town but not too far away and combination of TripAdvisor reviews and Google maps took us to El Lajar de Bello. We booked a table for 8.00 and arrived to find we were the only diners, although another small group arrived shortly after, and that was it until we were just... More

Its a nice and quiet restaurant in La Camella far from the touristic craziness. Most of the meals ive tried are very good quality,i would definetly recommed the Secreto Iberico. Would give them 5 stars, but last 2 times there was an arrogant waiter, apparently new in the restaurant, who made me feel uncomfortable asking him for basic things. Also is a bit pricey. But... More

Quaint, charming, and clean, the interior was definitely rustic Canarian: that was our first impression when we accidentally stumbled upon this fortune last December. And since then, we have returned handful of times to try their ever so interesting menu. They do have English menu upon request, and some are better English speaking then others; they are however so helpful... More

This is a lovely restaurant off the main tourist trail. It is very welcoming & spacious. The bread basket is varied & comes with butter/alioli/cream cheese & jam, which is quite nice. Please be aware although the wine list is "cheap" they add a €6 corking fee on top - have never seen this in the canary islands, (so logically... More

This restaurant is about a 15 min.taxi ride from Los Cristanos/Las Americas and is well worth the trip.Excellent service, food that will not disappoint and fantastic quality/price. Have had two dinners recently and both occasions were excellent. As mentioned in another post the wine has a surcharge for corkage 6 euros for the first bottle 5 for the second as this... More
