We visited TIME (slightly odd name for an excellent Italian restaurant although explained on the wall as an abbreviation) on three occasions during our week in Maspalomas. Very satisfied on all visits and not least on our 3rd. Personal and genuine service from the owner and others in the service where the story about the wine (from Tuscany and outstanding at an affordable price) was truly personal. Bruschetta, Gnocci with gorgonzola sauce, pepper steak and vanilla and chocolate ice cream became our fine menu on the last evening. Recommended!

We happened by chance in this restaurant on our arrival in the Canaries, although late in the evening they welcomed us and made us eat without any hurry. In the following days we returned because already the first evening we had eaten very well. Very fresh fish, homemade pasta, exceptional fish first courses and above all pasta cooked to perfection (not a small detail for being abroad). We picked up food from here twice during our holiday on GC. First time 3 pizzas with our family (kids 5 and 3). Pizzas tasted good and had more than enough toppings. Second time a few days later was a disappointment. The tortellini my wife ordered (€16) was nicely decorated and tasted good, but it was very small enough to serve as a main course. It was a very small portion, for €16.. the pizza (which had also been ordered the first time) was now covered with a large amount of blue cheese (not ordered) which completely lost the taste. Didn't eat the pizza because it wasn't tasty anymore. Very sad. Mixed feelings, but for a good first time it was a pass. :))

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Italian restaurant "TIME" with friends and my experience was entirely positive. We had made reservations for 7 people, unfortunately one couple had to cancel at short notice, but the restaurant manager completely understood that and it wasn't a problem... The ambience of the restaurant was inviting, the atmosphere pleasant, the music just as a background... The food was exquisitely prepared and offered a wide range of authentic Italian flavors. Worst take away pizza experience ever

I ordered a takeaway pizza. I was totally seen as a non-costumer and the staff were nonchalant when I was waiting for the pizza. I saw that a box of pizza was there, but no one cared. I asked and was told that it was not finished. But after another 10 minutes, the man looked up and said the pizza was ready - the pizza box I had been looking at for about 15 minutes came in front of me. This is not good treatment, your restaurant can be as popular as you like but this is not good for your future business!

In an island with many restaurants with Italian colors and names (and nothing else... not even the menus in the language) you finally find one 100% original. We had family dinner booking the table via website (highly recommended). All very good, pasta, pizza, desserts. Add staff attentive to your needs (and those of the boys) with whom you can speak in Italian , ask and get personalized dishes off the menu and receive exquisite dishes and the mix for a pleasant evening is done. I ordered two dishes of pasta to go pick up and when I arrived at the restaurant I found that after saying that I came to pick up an order they tried to separate me. I had moved from Meloneras and I had already been waiting for 30 minutes until the manager approached me and He comments after all the waiting and the transfer that they don't have what he ordered. They did not try to give me any solution even though the problem was theirs since they could have called back or notified me from the beginning. The pasta was not bad but the portions were quite small for the price. Of course we will not repeat after the treatment received.

Felt like the waiter rushing far too much created a negative atmosphere for us. Everything was done too quickly before we’d even sat down wanting to take the order. Wasn’t even busy. But just felt they wanted us to leave to get the next people in. Food however was delicious. Very good. But the atmosphere was too rushed. Also, the men’s toilet doesn’t have a toilet seat. What if I wanted to sit down? Toilet needs serous addressing also as the hand cleaning facility doesn’t have hot water?!? I’d like to clean my hands after going to the toilet?! And one more thing the table water was served in an up capped glass bottle, which blatantly was just tap water and charged 3 euros for it! Giving this 3 star out of 5 only because food was nice. Otherwise would had been 1/2 star

We seen the amazing reviews on here and thought we had to try it out. We booked online but when we arrived at the restaurant it was pretty empty and no one came to seat us, eventually when we were spotted they just pointed to one of the 2 tables outside and said sit there. They didn’t ask us if we wanted to sit inside they just seemed to want us out of the way. The service was just so rude and made us feel really uncomfortable, at points there were coming to our table to give us our food and not even saying a word. I don’t know why a restaurant would treat tourists this way when you have a business to run. The food is mediocre and didn’t outshine the unenthusiastic and careless service so we won’t return.

We wanted some good food away from tourists and although TIME is just outside the hotel I think it may get overlooked as it’s not a big place but that is a mistake as the food was lovely and staff were great. I had a whole sea bass that got Filleted at the Table with mixed veggies, much better than French fries, and Jan had pasta, perfectly cooked slightly Al dente. All food was home cooked, chocolate cake was scrummy. 2 of us 3 courses was 100 euros and we were happy with that.
