My husband and I had a half board in the hotel. It was so good that we did not want to go out and eat. But we decided to take two evenings for a night out. Both of them we choose this restaurant. Not the best location and not so modern and beautiful. But our new friend has advised us... More

We called in for a drink on our way back to our hotel. We had already had a drink elsewhere on the sea front at 5 euros for 2 glasses. We were charged almost double at La Bodega which is surprising, would have thought it would be a little cheaper not being directly on the sea front.

Well! Nothing special!!! €40 for a salad, a plate of Serrano Ham 2 beers and bread. For me expensive as it was a very average salad, and the Serrano ham even if it was Iberian ham...was a little bit too dry.

Nice setting amongst a number of bars and restaurants close to the beach. Very good service. Went there a couple of times and very happy both times. Large drink measures and freebies probably did influence our judgement but that is the sort of influence I like.

This is one of a number of restaurants along the seafront. One of us had pizza; the other, a kebab. Both appear to have been prepared to order and were tasty. One of the waiters was a bit grumpy, but the others were friendly. At one stage to be a no came along to ask if everything was OK.

The restaurant looks good on the beach walk, we were greeted by the waiters and eat what i considered the best paella of my life. With a relaxed environment and friendly staff would return.

Been coming to this restaurant for over 14 years and still one of the best restaurants in Gran Canaria. Food is of high quality and staff are friendly, polite and efficient. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Staff are very child friendly and I would recommend highly the strawberry, chocolate and cream crepes!

Went there three times during at en days stay i Maspalomas. The first and the second were great, but the last one was fantastic. The starters were very good, especially the Manchego they serve there (got later aware that its made by one of the waiters mother). Combined with some Reserva (something) from 1999 it was one of the best... More

by far and away the best of the restaurants at the beach that we tried - we had intended to go to Time but it was absolutely deserted so we tried La Bodega and were warmly greeted by the staff. Nice little extras like free tomato salad and free after-dinner tipples and an owner who didn't seem to want you... More
