About

Our story started in 2018 with the opening of the barbecue foodtruck which is a part of Oslos city center and festival scene. After a lot of positive feedback, we decided that it is time to open a restaurant that represents our spirit and passion. In August 2019 Americana Grill&Bar opened. Our passionate team created a authentic and creative experience. Welcome and see for yourself. :)

A restaurant that serves absolutely fantastic food that tastes much better than any other restaurant I have been to of the same type. There is a good atmosphere and ultimate service, where they make sure you have everything you need and that you get what you expect and have a good time. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and comfortable for the best experience

Raus(one of the best burger places in lillestrom) has a new competitor. The burgers here are amazing and the tornado fries are to die for. Pleasant staff and a calm atmosphere with great music. I will definitely be coming back.

Amazing Everything!

A warm welcome followed by efficient, effective and responsive, friendly service. Best burger I have ever had (Viking Burger); Brought to the table by the amazing cook/chef/owner? A cosy, very clean restaurant with perfect music, lighting and decor!

Good Service but the food was not good enough

We heard a lot good about American Grill & Bar and have now tested our self. We liked the ambiance and the service very good but the food was not good enough. We had the sharing plate as a starter and were disappointed that it seemed to be processed food and not freshly made, even the BBQ sauce seemed bought. But the burgers were worst, I had the signature burger with fries not fried enough, the bread was doughy and the burger was much too salty. We have been a lot in the US at really good burger places and it is possible that our expectations are high for a Norwegian burger joint. That there was no ketchup or/and mustard at the table is another big minus. You cant serve burgers without condiments. We do appreciate new restaurants in Lillestrøm and wish also American all the best but If we did not visit you the "wrong" day, you have to work with your food. Service was god, the restaurant cool, the music to high or the speakers to bad and the light too bright

Still the same - not good enough

We were back, a nice place, good service but the food is still disappointing. If your specialty is burgers and you are not asking how I want my burger done it's a bad start. The starters and the sauces look and taste still not homemade. The burger is still grey and overcooked. Sorry American, not good enough for the price. I will not come back or recommend you.

Excellent place for Steak and American food

Had a mother daughter evening. Ordered Steak chimmichura with balsamic Salad and fried potatoes. Upon request they even provided some hot sauce. My daughter had Jack Daniel's Steak with a side of fries. We got nachos and sauce complementary. There is great atmosphere, excellent food and very friendly and attentive service. This will be first of many visits. Highly recommend it. Could not fault anything.
