Our party were greeted by very professional, friendly and honest staff. The food arrived very quickly, and was very tasty. Prices are very resonable, therefore we had a starter along with the main dish although we wasn’t planning on having anything more than one dish...each. Just had a delicious meal at The Black Pearl Malta! I had potato soup (stunning), Thor Burger which was the thickest meatiest tasty burger ever! And ice cream. The boyfriend had fishcakes, seafood platter and lemon cheesecake - he loved it! The steaks that came...out looked out of this world. The staff were lovely and attentive. Booked online which was easy. The venue is a ship that's been used in movies and the atmosphere is unique and interesting. Be prepared to wait a little, not the sort of place to rush or be rushed. First visit was back in February, it was a wonderful experience. We made a reservation for yesterday July 26 for 2 for 1915. We arrived and waited to be taken to our table. We noticed the inside of the restaurant was in disarray and not...being used by the look of it. We were sat outside on a rickety uneven table. We waited 20 min before a waitress came to our table. She told us sorry (we could see she was the only waitress) and handed us menus. She brought us water and said she would return to take our order. Another 15 minutes go by, she comes and we order the seafood platter for 2 and some oysters. She returned 5 minutes to tell us sorry the platter was sold out. They have been opened a little over an hour and by looking around none of the tables had food. So after spending close to an hour we decided it would be best to find somewhere else to eat. For the entire time we were there we only saw the gentleman that sat us and the one waitress. No other tables had food just drinks. We headed over to Valletta and had a lovely dinner. I see there is new management, I hope they get a handle on how to run a restaurant quickly or they will not have any customers.More
Was there with few friends and the waiters, especially raffaele, were very kind and Nice, fast and Sophisticated. The Food was amazing aswell. There is nothing you want more.
Took pappardelle con gamberi and grilled chicken breast, no taste of seafood, the pasta was cooked well but tasteless and only 4 small prawns, the chicken was 200 grms a bit small and the side, very few potatoes and mostly rucola, the place is nice...with a nice view, advice: do not sit on the last 2 tables outside in the upper floor, they are at the back of the kitchen as you will get all the heat and smell of the cooked food.More

Five-star dinner dishes prepared with skill and love, very fresh and delicious food. Excellent service with an almost obsessive care and attention to the customer, and a special thanks to the waiter Raffaele. Restaurant to return to as soon as we return to Malta.

One of the best restaurant in Malta. We’ve been there with friends, despite being a lot of people, service was excellent, fast, and very professional. Not accessible to special needs persons and elderly. Besides the management should check that food comes out hot not cold. Also when there’s a group with kids, they should tell them that the restaurant is not a playground and that they should respect others. The...management should take care of this.More
We just went for a drink it was nice just a bit dark. Was a cool atmosphere as exactly a boat inside. Nice drinks. Would book if you want to go as it’s very popular.
We had lunch at the Black Pearl to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had pasta to share and meat as main plate. My husband and I enjoyed a very good tomahawk. It was very nice, ambience, food, attentive waiters. We had a good time.
