Modern, trendy interior. Very innovative, delicious lunch portions combined with good service. Clever with takeaway ice coffee! Went directly to my nr. 1 lunch experience this summer!

Had a lunch with my collage.
Nice and light place. Modern decoration. No air condicion :(
Menu is changing every day - delicious choices for a lunch. Had a salad with goat cheese.. yam!
Will go again.

Although our choice was limited (it was a conference dinner after all) we were treated to excellent local food (if a bit salty...all Finnish food seems salty to me !). Great choice for my vegan colleague too and good wines, beers and gins ! Very friendly staff who were keen to explain why they are part of the ResQ project to avoid food waste at the end of the night - a real plus for a field trip on food waste management in the EU. Lovely design and comfy, friendly surroundings.

The Äärellä Restaurant is a small, cosy city restaurant with modern layout. Young staff is friendly and professional. Wines - cava, red wine, port-, have been chosen with good instinct. Oxtail plate as starter was good. The toast was a bit too dry, yet tasty. Our main course was pork gaskin and it really was well prepared. It was very well spiced and was delicious. To us, who use minimal salt, it tasted a little salty at the end. Despite that the overall tasting experience was very good. Our desert was tiramisu and I must say it was splendid. Perhaps the best tiramisu I’ve ever tried, really.

We've been here a couple times and always this place amazes us. It's a modern style restaurant and we love the new way of doing things: you order from the counter and they call your name when the food is ready and you go and get it yourself. The waitress and waiter especially are very professional and nice, just great service. Food has always been delicious, very good value for the money. We'll be back!

You might not think Seinäjoki is a city, where you can get a world class lunch, but rest assured - it is. Äärellä offers most beautiful and surprising dishes with first class, local ingredients. Nettle fromage is just one example.

Trendy and sophisticated lunch spot. The menu consisted of three main courses (€10 each), and this was enough for me to choose from. Some felt like the portions were small, but I believe these were enough for women at least. The chewy meat with noodles was a huge dissapointment, but the salmon on a bread was tasty. Service was friendly.
