The Belgian coast is always busy on a sunny day and hence this place was full when we got there. We did manage to get a table and the food was good. Lovely grilled salmon but quite chewy vegetables. Good but not good enough for us to plan to return.

nice and friendly place. Professional and always clean, which is not a simple feat at the Belgian coast.

We often go to this restaurant when we are in Knokke, especially when we go for dinner as a family. The specialities are sea-food and 'entrecôte grillé au feu de bois' (highly recommended). This restaurant is family owned and the waiters are the same since many years. The service is good and friendly. They also have a nice terrasse with... More

So we had the €35 menu, with a 4,5€ the glass of Orval beer that makes it a round 40 for a 3 course meal + drink. Appetizers croquettes crevettes maison was just bad. My friend had the scampis and these were better, definitely. Main course, cabillaud, tasteless and evidence of the kitchen's inability to cook. Steak grillé I asked... More

Save your waistline and your Euros and don't eat here. I can always diet tomorrow if food is delicious, and I'm willing to pay almost any price for a scrumptious feast, but this restaurant is not the place. The food is below average, the prices are unwarranted, and the service is surly. Diners beware!

We had lunch at this place. As a starter we took carpaccio of scallops and scallops a la nage. The taste of the shells was very nice. As a main course we had steak with pepper sauce and asparagus made in the traditional Belgian way. The food was very nice. Service was not exceptional, we had to wait too long... More

* serves toasted ham & cheese sandwiches, but also oysters, fish & meat * eaten there several times: sometimes very good, sometimes average * ordered mojitos, but they were not fresh and tasted like they came straight from some mixed drinks bottle. For EUR 10 or 12, I expect fresh mojito.(I should add that nearly every restaurant near the beach... More

Very friendly crew with large tables and enough space between. Very good menu with fish and meat appetisers and main courses. In summer time, is it possible to eat outside just nearby the sea. Inside everything is very clean and service is nearly outstanding. The oysters and steak with peppercreamed suace were delicious. The presented wines our ok, we got... More
