Located at the market square, this small restaurants serves excellent food. The market menu was 30 euro's for a 3 course dinner, good value Some more choice to be had with the 45euro 3 course menu, which was also excellent. When I got here, I thought this was your typical seaside 'brasserie'. Located on the grote markt (basically a big car park during non-market hours) and surrounded by pubs & brasseries, I wasn't exactly expecting fine dining. I was completely wrong. Rather than your typical...tourist trap, this restaurant has a very nice design. We were treated to very tasty appetizers, followed a great main course. I had the sole ('zeetong') and it was one of the best ones I ever had. The waiter is a bit of an acquired taste, but other than that, we had a fantastic type. Highly recommended.More

We have been there with family and later with friends. We experienced that they are not child friendly. In general the food is fresh, dishes look very attractive but everything is very tasteless.
