Our menu is not a static item. It is a limited edition collection of flavors, changing every season. We only use ingredients that are fresh every moment, sourcing them from trusted producers after sampling and tasting everything ourselves. We draw our inspiration from the vast culinary tradition of the Mediterranean, often bringing in the foreground traditional recipes that bear our own twist. EAT HERE. Period. My husband and I are from NYC so we’re pretty spoiled when it comes to good food and sometimes have impossible standards, but Nicholas meets them and more. The food was phenomenal (highly recommend his homemade bread, the Brie stuffed with walnuts and truffle oil, the ribeye, and his “French moussaka”), the wine was great, and Nicholas himself walks you through the whole dinner with charm and impeccable service. When we couldn’t find a cab for 30 minutes after we finished eating, he treated us to espresso and dessert while we waited and even gave us a bottle of water for the road. 100% recommend and will 100% return. Thanks, Nicholas!

Greeted with a big handle-barred smile at the door by the Owner & Chef, Nicolas, we knew we were in for an amazing evening as soon as we arrived.
We sat outside, the weather was perfect, the french music added to the atmosphere. The gastronomic journey began with four types of homemade bread & with Olive Oil from Kalamata, only available at this restaurant. I don’t know how simple olive oil could taste so good!
To start we had the Croustillant de Chèvre and the Brie Farçi both of which I would highly recommend. We also had the Salad du Chef & the Fried Chicken & Okra to try something different. I think the pick of the apps was the Brie stuffed with walnuts, mushroom paste and truffle oil. Delicious!
Chef also brought us out some tarama which he explained was homemade and prepared over a period of two weeks, you can tell it’s made with a special attention to detail.
For mains we had Orzo with mushrooms, cream sauce — sublime! And the Surf & Turf veal sweet breads & prawns special— not something I would usually order but Chef recommended it and I’m glad he did.
Oh! I nearly forgot dessert: Ile Flotante with Granny Smith and onion cream that I basically drank off the plate, Ginger candied cookies and dark chocolate & pistachio pieces of heaven to top it all off. OMG.
Throughout the evening, Nicolas popped by to chat, explain how dishes were made, recommend wines to pair with each course, all of which were spot on.
This is one of those restaurants where the food is only part of the experience. It goes without saying the menu is exceptionally designed and the food expertly executed - moreover, Chef Nicolas made sure we had the best possible time while under his care. And it’s those touches of personality & passion for ones craft that sets this restaurant apart.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough and can’t wait to come back next year!

My husband and I went here to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. We're self-described "foodies" who travel often, which means regularly getting advice from Trip Advisor for places to eat. We made a reservation at Bistrot de Nicolas after reading all of the impressive reviews, and we are SO GLAD we did. Our meal was an experience that we'll remember for the rest of our lives. Chef Nicolas and Nemo made us feel totally at home - Nemo had even decorated our table with fresh cut flowers from his garden at home. Every dish from Nicolas was cooked perfectly and the flavor combinations were creative and well executed. We enjoyed every course we ate, but if there is slow cooked octopus on the menu the night you visit, make sure to order. Thank you Bistrot de Nicolas! I hope we have a chance to visit again someday, but for now we're cherish the memories of our meal fondly.

We visited the restaurant for an early dinner while staying in Myconos island. The food was exceptional! We tried almost everything in the catalogue. The Chef was very friendly and explained each dish with detail.
I recommend the restaurant for a culinary experience while visiting myconos. Far better than other restaurants in the island.
Don’t miss the bread and the Hachis parmentier!!

My boyfriend took me here and we loved it. The views were spectacular and the environment was cozy. The chef explained every dish to us which made eating it that much more special. Highly recommend visiting this spot in Mykonos!

A Myconian gem. Nicolas is an extremely talented chef and his food was nothing short of outstanding. The steak was perfectly cooked and with beef of the highest quality. The wild mushroom and truffle orzo was one of the best pasta dishes we have ever tasted.

So from all the restaurants we dined at in Mykonos AND Santorini, this was our favorite by far!
1) The food. The French influence on Greek dishes makes them stand out amongst other Greek restaurants. Not exaggerating, they make the best Carbonara Pasta I've ever had (its my favorite pasta so I've had lots). They cook the egg is some special machine that makes it perfect when served on top and you tear it & mix it into the pasta. Their truffle cheese dish is a sweet & savory party dancing on your tongue. Their entrecôte was perfectly cooked and served with the secret sauce that sealed the deal for us.
2) The wine. The chef specifically selected the wine list and has perfect pairings for what you're eating. We absolutely loved the Dalamara Naoussa which tasted like a Greek Barolo.
3) The staff. The server and chef/owner both attend you and explain all the dishes. I am always appreciative to get face time with the chef preparing my dinner and you can really tell he puts love into his recipes and cares about every customer and dish at his restaurant. 5 Star service across the board.
4) Location. I actually love that its off the beaten path. Feels like I am eating where the locals go and away from the touristy madness. The views are beautiful and the overall decor is homey. And let's be honest, by far, everyone really just means 15 mins away.
So yes - our favorite restaurant out of about 10 we dined at during our trip and there were some other heavy hitters they competed against. I only dream of going back and having that Carbonara pasta once again.

Bistrot de Nicolas is one my favourite restaurants in Mykonos. Any time I visit it I'm sure that i enjoy my dinner. Nicolas use the best quality and fresh ingredients. The combination of French and greek cuisine, his personal attention, the reasonable prices and the cosy environment are a guarantee for an unforgetatable dinner.

The last 10 years I have visited Mykonos around 7 times. I always try to find good places to eat in Mykonos . Many other are overpriced and there is no value for money . Yesterday , I went with friend to have late lunch to Bistrot de Nicolas in Ano mera. The food was amazing ! The marriage of greek cuisine with the French was in perfect harmony! The innovation was a very pleasant surprise . The chef uses top quality greek products and that is something is obvious ! Top quality olive oil, amazing taramosalata, amazing unique chicken and orka dish … excellent ribeye , very tasted orzo with mushrooms . The wine list combines greek and French wines ! Probably one of the best restaurants I visited this year ! You should not miss the opportunity to visit this place if you se in Mykonos . The prices are very reasonable.

Excellent from start to finish. So glad we decide to give this restaurant a try. The food was really delicious - French cuisine with a local twist. Nicolas is passionate about food and pays attention to every detail. Very good value - so we splashed out on a special Greek red wine and didn’t regret it. We will go again before leaving Mykonos.

We had a fabulous dinner at Bistrot de Nicolas in mid-May 2024. Chef/Owner Nicolas was very involved in all aspects of our experience, offering explanations of the menu and the wine list before we ordered and later, detailed explanations of each of the items that were served at our table. The menu contained interesting choices and the food and drink were excellent. The location on the main road between Mykonos Town and Ano Mera was easy to find and there was plenty of street parking available. If you're looking for a top notch dining experience in Mykonos, Bistrot de Nicolas would be a superb choice.

A bit outside of chora where all the fancy and hip restaurants are located you find this jewel of a restaurant where chef Nicolas creates french inspired delicacies of absolutely top quality. Lovely decorated interior and very friendly staff. Excellent greek wines (try the wine pairing!). We have been in many restaurants in Mykonos and most of them are excellent but Bistrot de Nicolas is the best so far - also because the prices are very fair.

This little restaurant is a true gem. The chef prepares everything from scratch with great care and an eye for detail: homemade smoked meat accompanied by his own watermelon pickle, tender yet crispy calamari with a unique aromatic sauce made of Greek herbs and mastic found on nearby islands, freshly picked figs with a delicious white chocolate sauce and the list goes on...
A great addition to all this is the exquisite wine list. If you want to taste Greek and international wines that go beyond the usual mainstream options, you definitely have to pay Bistrot de Nicolas a visit. You will get details about the wine-making process of each bottle and wine pairing suggestions.

I have visited the restaurant with my wife and my son twice in 2 weeks in Mykonos. The first time we experienced the meat dishes and an amazing Bizios Nemea red wine. The beef tartare, the Orzo with mushrooms MMF and the Limousin ribeye steak were exceptional. My son enjoyed the chocolate fondue. The service was professional, the chef was educating and very attentive. The second time we have experienced the seafood dishes and the bouillabaisse and the fish filets were mouth watering. My son enjoyed the chocolate fondue again. In any case the quality of the food is extremely high and the portions are quite big for this type of quality. The prices are reasonable for the quality and the atmosphere is French. It is a must try for Mykonos.

From a first email query to calling our driver, we were warmly taken care of by Nicolas. His love, knowledge, and talent are evident in his description of sources and preparation of the dishes. My favorite was the cauliflower steak starter, tender with just enough cream sauce and topped with a "spoiling" amount of shaved truffles! It definitely spoiled me. Of course, everything that followed was as delicious. Thank you for adding to a memorable first trip to Mykonos!
