We found this little hidden gem after coming back from Rome one night. We google places to eat and the first place we walked to ( not wanting to give up our parking spot at the train station) we where not dressed up enough for....Around the corner on a dead end street was this little hidden gem. You can tell the min you walk in that this is where the locals eat. It was packed and for good reason. The food was priced well, the food was superb and the house wine delish. Only one server spoke some English but we were able to order dinner in such a busy place. The service is slow as this place is super busy . But Italians are not fast paced so don't expect to dine and dash. My husband had lamb, my friend had fish and I had flat steak with arugula and cheese on top ( no it was not weird it was actually delightful). My son had Pizza. Dinner was probably a 3 hr affair and with good wine it was nice to not be rushed. The place was clean and decorated well. It felt like you were at home eating. Another great place to eat outside Rome.More
