This is not the first time I've been here. I'm an American living in Poland and my wife's family lives 10km away. We came here on woman's day with my brother and sister in law. We ordered goulash, tartar with salmon and trout, blini with trout, trout with fries, garlic soup. Everything was well presented and very tasty. The service was excellent. Of course, my sister in law knows the head waiter. For dessert we had the chocolate melting cake and it was yummy. I highly recommend a visit

Great food, good service and nice atmosphere all at a reasonable price!

The staff were very accomodating, the food was great. Both the accomodation and restaurant were very busy when we visited. We did not have a booking or reservation but they were able to accomodate us, opening up a small function room just for us. The food was delicious, freshly made, served quickly, and reasonably priced. The staff were kind, friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend the duck and the restaurant’s home made beer!

Local cuisine at its best.

We arrived at this place at a high point of the surrounding area. We ordered and soon the food arrived. Fortunately I shared as the portions were large. All orders were tasty and our group were completely satisfied at the food and the price.

Nice food - we took pierogi with wild meat and kartacze. Big portions and aceptable prices. Quite long time od awaiting for the order. Service +/-. They didn’t put a lot of attention on guests. Some of them had to ask few times for a bill and payment possibilities. Also should put more attention on cigaretes smoke to keep it far from the guests inside the restaurant. Restaurant is often closed „parties” and is closed for the others. Best call and ask for a table before. Vege friendly, pets friendly.

Fantastically located in the heart of Tykocin, beautiful restaurant extended to the river view patio. Impressive sum of Hussars exhibited at the gate welcomes you at the entry, making your dinning experience even more special. It's amazing to see the history becoming such a integrated part of this amazing place! Spot on ! Excellent service and absolutely gorgeous food. Specially recommend duck in the cranberry sauce and baked apple. Don't forget freshly made lemonade, stunning!! It's an absolute must to visit!!

excellent! Staying in great place for sleeping in neighberhood - Kurnik Polski you can eat dinner here and admire the historic interiors. Everything on their menu is delicious, real Polish cuisine. Fresh and delicious .

Good quality service, nice envoirment, perfecly baked trout with salad and tasty potatoes. Here knows how to cook. On the top was proud of Poland - Šarlotka. Defineatly reccomend!

We had dinner on the outside terrace with a view on the river and bridge. The food was beautiful and delicious. I had a vegetarian salad en potato pancakes. Very good.

A nice one - yet we've expected more

We've heard this is the best place for dinner - and so we've booked the place. First, You need to know the restaurant closes at 9PM, but actually the kitchen closes 7PM (!); we were not warned, so when we've reached the place 6:45, we were invited rather cold "it's almost too late to start" well, nobody had warned us while making the reservation! Next, we've thought we'll need to order the dishes asap - but that took actually much longer (~15 min). OK, knowing that at least the orders were accepted, we've been awaiting for the meals; and they were good. I mean, nothing special, they were good indeed. With all that, and hearing almost poems about the quality of dishes, we were both ... a bit disappointed; maybe we've our expectations set too high? This IS a nice place, with good terrace and river view, the waiter was very competent. all in all, I would give 3,5*, but since TA does not allow that, will stick to 3*

I have the change to lunch in this restaurant located in a place full a history. The service is perfect and the was also perfect. The decoration is fantastic and there a music in the air that makes the meals goes better.

Everyone enjoyed their meals, zurek was a meal in itself with so much kielbasa. Meal for 3 including beers was under 150 PLN. Great value and delicious. And dog friendly!!!

Lovely location, the garden restaurant is an excellent place to have a meal in in the summer. Food quality is great (portions could be a bit bigger), prices are reasonable and the service is polite and helpful. Recommend.

I suggest not to visit this place. The waiter is arrogant. He orders the customers not to ask for the menu but to go back and read at the entry. Next he instructs categorically when you can sit in the yard or on the terrace. Finally, after waiting for 20 minutes, he is not willing to take the order. Simply speaking it is a lousy place.

On the Narew River

A restaurant with an atmosphere on the Narew River, in an old manor house. Pork chop is worth recommending. Unfortunately, tasteless puree, served in the form of cubes, placed on top of the cutlet (average idea, not sure what to do with it). Good cucumber, made upon request. The service is good, but he can't tell which dish is the best. It's impossible not to give 5 stars for the whole thing, because it is a very good restaurant.
