We entered this place just to have a beer while listening to some live music and ended up having great dinner. Great food at a very good price with nice views of the beach. When we were there, there was great live music!

I only like to leave reviews once I have eaten somewhere more than at least once. I have eaten here around 10 times now and sometimes it is great, sometimes it is awful. The live music on Saturday is always brilliant. The food can be hit and miss and the service also. For example sometimes the food is great, other... More

We really enjoiyed very delicious foods and traditional Greek music, Buzuki at the SCHOOL. This taverna is unforgettable one for us. Actually we went there every times when we visited to Kythira island.

We ordered a Greek salad, lentils with mushrooms and a chicken souvlaki. All dishes were very tasty and freshly prepared from the start. We finished the dinner with the cake of the day and coffee. The price was reasonable. Every day you can choose from several new dishes that are not on the fixed menu, The ambient is very pleasant... More

First time at this so so beautiful island, Kithira. I stayed at Chora the capital for most of my days until I discovered the Agia Pelagia area...hm. That's where I spent my last two days. I hitch hiked (it is considered very normal as there is no bus in the island) and I was taken to this most amazing restaurant... More

Sxoleio was an old school in Agia Pelagia, hence the name. Besides many of the traditional Greek dishes,Sxoleio also has a mix of other different dishes. The warm potato and green salad was delicious, as were the crab balls. The char-grilled octopus was divine.

We ate here 3 times during our week in Agia Pelagia. Good food and interesting daily specials. Combined with the live bouzouki music (every evening when we were there) makes this taverna a perfect place for a relaxt diner.

Food was not better than other places. But it was quite good, in similar prices plus the live bouzouki music!

The view from this restaraunt is amazing. The best in Ag.Pelagia. The food was very bad, we order the Cytherian traditional salad but we got something that wasn't even close to that (bread in salad instead of ladokoulouro). Our main courses was over privlxed and below average. The house wine is some steps before it become vinegar. Overall avoid except... More

when we came to Kythira we had to visit this restaurant. the menu is written with pen & paper and it is explained what is available and what is not. The service is excellent and the waiter is watching everything and is Always available but never pushing. The the food itself: in one word: spectaculair! This is how you wished... More
